The lost elf.

An elf named Buddy was always underestimated. One day he was delivering supplies for the toys for Santa's workshop. His truck got mowed over by sliding snow. Knocking the truck down the steep slope like nothing. As it slowly rolled then it speed ed up as it rolled down the slope. Glass and debris flied everywhere.

"Ow!" Buddy woke with a start. He was hanging upside down he pressed the release button on his seat belt. He slowly crawled out of the truck.

He heard movement behind the truck and him.

"Ow! Hey, you there help me please?!" Buddy spun around to find another elf dubbed Hannah, she was a very smart elf, he had a friendly attitude towards her and to him.

Buddy helped her out of the truck as it tipped over out of sight.

"Wow! Thanks!" Hannah exclaimed, giving Buddy a hug that came so fast he was startled.

"Awo!" An eerie ghastly echoed through the darkness. "What was that?!" They both gasped. They looked around at their bizarre new setting, searching for the source of the noise.

"Is this still the north pole?" Buddy asked Hannah, he was both tired and cold. Hannah continued to look around her.

Finally, after a few minutes of looking she heaved a sigh, her breath visible in the chilly air.

"Yes.", "Good!" Buddy cried (means half yelled/ half said.) They both smiled at each other.

"Let's see the sun is setting so..." she stopped herself clearly thinking something through. "Let's follow the road instead of wasting time here" Before she started walking up the slope.

Buddy said, "That's not too smart of you." Hannah wheeled around on her heels, her hands on her hips leaning to the side and glared at him. One thing about Hannah is that she doesn't like to be told.

"What's wrong with my idea...". "It's too dangerous" He meant the falling snow. She understood but sternly glared at Buddy. There was a snap of twigs in the bush, a pack of mean looking dogs appeared out of the bush. They glared their yellow scary teeth at them and ran at them. The two Elf's spun around the other way running as fast as they could possibly could.

Hannah was faster than Buddy he glanced behind him the dogs were at their heels they emerged out of the forest. Hannah tripped and fell. Buddy tripped over her thigh which sent him sprawling yet another steep slope.

Buddy landed with a thud. He opened his eyes and found himself on a frozen lake cracking under Buddy's weight. The cracks blossomed into a great flower-life shape. Then finally after so long the ice gave away falling into the ice.

All sound seemed to exist. All he felt was ice cold cutting his bones freezing up so much it burned his skin. He felt darkness at the doorstep of his surroundings.

Buddy felt himself slipping back into reality in short bursts of visions. First, he was pulled out of the lake, then he was on a sled staring up into Hannah's great bright blue eyes. She was always with him always. Then he woke with a start, his new sense was warmth as his stomach felt warm, he opened his eyes to find himself in a cabin.

Buddy looked to his left and found Hannah right beside him, her face facing him. She finally woke her eyes up looking at him. She smiled at him that eventually had her hugging him tell him how she pulled him out of the lake and that the Elfs came looking for them and how they pulled him in sled. When she was done was grinning. She smiled at him; him to her. They were saved, they escaped the dogs, and he was saved by Hannah. As Buddy was taken to tell his point-of-view of what happened he turned around and mouthed 'Thank you!' She smiled back and said, "See you around Buddy!"

Buddy finally had a friend he looked forward to seeing every time he woke to the day.

The End.
