Dolls

after one year Kenma, Kuroo, and Dolly were living Kenma's dream of a happy family. Yes Dolly tried to run a few times and cried to go home but she went silent a month ago after being put in time out for a week. After getting out of time out Dolly wasn't the same.

Kenma's POV

"Dolly what's wrong? You've been quiet since you got out of time out" I heard Tetsu ask "Dolly wants a new toy" she pouted "but you have plenty of toys here" he gestured to the many dolls, balls, and even toy cars "but I want a bigger doll! One that has long hair and can talk to me and have tea parties and I want one daddy!" she began crying "Dolly you have to wait a while, we can get you one" I said hugging her "okay papa, when can I have one?" She looked up at me "it'll be your Christmas present and we can get her more clothes too" she lit up "Christmas is seven months from now" I laughed "it is Dolly, it'll be just enough time to get you a perfect doll" Tetsu said grinning "okay it's nap time, go ahead to your room and I'll bring you a bottle" she got up and skipped to her room. Tetsu came to me as I stood up and kissed my head "we'll discuss her doll while she naps, I think I have the right person in mind" I patted his shoulder and went to make a bottle.

Seven days later

Kenma's POV

I had been playing tea party for two hours before Dolly got sleepy "I'm goin to call daddy and see if he'll bring us some food" I got up and left her room to call Tetsu. Fifteen minutes later I heard him coming through the door "I'm home and I brought food" I heard Dolly running down the hallway and jump into Tetsu's arms "daddy you're home! Did you bring me anything?" Tetsu laughed and set her in her chair "I brought pizza and some doughnuts! They're your favorite" Dolly cheered and clapped hands happily "yay I love you daddy! Best day ever!" She kissed his cheeks "daddy we need to talk after Dolly goes to bed" I whispered walking past him and he just nodded.

Dinner went by as normal and Dolly went to sleep without fuss "now, what did we need to talk about kitten?" Tetsu pulled me onto his lap on the couch "I found the perfect doll for Dolly, it took a while but she's perfect" he grinned "does she have a routine? Does she like you?" I stretched "her routine is that she comes in, greets me as honey, gets three books, sits at the table closest to the front desk, reads for three hours while glancing at me every five minutes, and comes back every three days" his grin grew wider "think you could lure her out? Since she likes you" I groaned "but I'm not into women and I didn't even know how to flirt with you" he kissed my nose "that my love, is where I come in. I'll go in one day and talk to her and see if she's into you like that and then you do the rest" Tetsu always knew what to do.

Timeskip 2 weeks

Kenma's POV

It took two weeks to finally get her to go on a date with me "how do I look? Is it too much? I want this date to go well" I asked Tetsu "no it's perfect, let me take a picture-"

I walked out of our house and almost walked right back inside "do it for Dolly, do it for Dolly" I changed until I arrived at the cafe she told me to meet at "hello Ami, have you been here long?" I asked sitting across from her "oh not long at all, I just picked this up" she put her book down and looked at me with her doe eyes "before we carry on, I need to know how old you are exactly? I'd like to know more about you too" I was afraid she'd be too young or boring "oh I turned nineteen four months ago, I just started Uni this past month" she smiled at me.
