Riley's POV
James and I walk into Hidalgo's. He sits down, and I lie my head on his legs. He gently strokes my hair. We sit there in silence. Last night was our anniversary and it was amazing.
"The song was amazing." I say. He continues to stroke my hair.
"The paint was amazing- how did you know I like to paint?" He says.
"Your Aunt told me."
"Really?"
"Yeah, she showed me a painting of yours."
"The boat one?"
"That's the one."
"Well thank you, I had fun."
"Me too."
Thalia's POV
I walk into Hidalgo's, looking for James and Riley. Kate had just texted me saying that she is holding auditions for A-Troupe. I need to tell them.
"Riley! James!" I say. They look up. I notice James stroking Riley's hair. They are so cute, I wish I could have something like that with Eldon- let's change the subject.
"How was the anniversary?" I ask.
"Amazing!" They say in unison. "James and his band wrote a song-" she says. "I wanna see the world with you, where you go I will follow" they start singing. "Aww James..." I start.
"Riley gift was better." He says.
"Aww it was nothing." She says.
"Nothing? You should have seen it, she set up A-Troupe like a huge canvas! We were a human painting."
"Wow." I say.
"I'm sure Eldon will get 30-" Riley says. I cut her off.
"Yeah, I hope so."
James continues to stroke her hair.
"You guys are so cute. They smile.
"The reason I came here was to tell you that Kate is holding auditions in Studio A to replace Chloe."
"Let's go." Riley says. She gets up James lap as he gets up. They grab hands and walk up to Studio A, as one, as I follow behind, by myself. Come on Eldon, hurry up with the spins already!
I head into studio A, ready to find out who made the team.
