Chapter 2 The great darkness

The being says"hello inferior native creatures, we have come to collect life forms born with special abilities"
General laphius says "you are trespassing in the kingdom of neider, who do you represent"
The being raises it's hand and wind around general laphius intensifies "you dare speak to a lukantian like that primitive, if you speak up to me again I will make sure there's no air within you" says the being
General laphius falls to the ground gasping for air
"Now where are your special life forms" says the being  "I am who you are looking for" says ghacyrus
"Show me your ability primitive" says the being
"If you say so" says ghacyrus
Long strong roots rise from the earth and wrap around the being
The being raises it's hand again and knocks ghacyrus back forcing ghacyrus to lose concentration,The roots go back into the ground.
"It seems you spoke truthfully indeed" the being said "now come with me, someone wants to meet you" said the being. The being and ghacyrus board the ship. "My name is salarius (suh lare ee us), I'm a pillander (puh lan der) my species adapted to the harsh desert of my home planet by becoming a hard material." Said the being (salarius)      "Wow you traveled so far how did your people achieve this technology." Said ghacyrus   "My people didn't achieve it, one day like your planet a ship landed that we couldn't defend from and found me." Said salarius
"That's terrible, they stole from your home."  Said ghacyrus
"No, lukanta freed me and gave me purpose. They may seem bad now but soon you'll see it's better like this." Said salarius
"Alright if you say so where are we going anyway." Said ghacyrus
"We're going to lukanta your new home." Said salarius
They arrive at lukanta, a world of wild plants and life. A place of peace where people with abilities may live with each other and keep the world alive.
"Welcome to lukanta" said salarius
"This place is amazing but where is the major structures" ghacyrus says
"Here in lukanta we respect our world by only building small environmentally healthy settlements" said salarius
"Now it's time for you to meet the king" salarius said
"The king? Alright" said ghacyrus
Salarius nods at the guards and they let them passed and they arrive at a temple of gold and enter
Salarius kneels and presents his arms straight forward towards the king in the customary lukantian salute
"I am here with a new blessed one sire" said salarius
A man on a golden throne stands "thank you salarius, you may rise" says  Zelectos
Salarius stands
"What is your name" Zelectos says
"Ghacyrus sire" said ghacyrus
"And what is your gift" said Zelectos
"My gift is I can communicate and control nature" said ghacyrus
"Hmm, very useful and how effective are you with this gift" said Zelectos
" I'm new to it but I was able to take down a foe by commanding the roots to pull him to the ground" said ghacyrus
"I see, you will be trained and eventually you will be able to utilize your gift a lot more as you have seen with salarius. He is one of my most trusted men." Said Zelectos
Salarius bows
"It is time for me to tell you the history of lukanta , I will now begin" said Zelectos
"Long ago I lived on a planet called earth dominated by a species called humans. You see, I was there helping humanity when I was pretty much just like them except I had some gifts. I was able to manipulate all forms of energy but I kept it a secret to most and I used my gifts to protect the planet from all threats. but one day I found a way to ensure I could protect the world undoubtedly I created a weapon capable of keeping me immortal and giving me extreme power. It drew energy from the strongest known force at the time darkness, I could withstand the corruption but it was so powerful it grew a consciousness and by that time I knew it was too dangerous so I hid it away. Days later a solar eclipse occurred and at that same point a extremely rare comet that can only be seen every billion years aligned with it and that created a powerful ray of energy that was absorbed by the dark weapon and that created a large blast of energy knocking out all power on earth and knocked Zelectos unconscious. When he awakened it was a day later and where the dark weapon stood there was a being of shadows shifting between physical and shadows and it spoke "father, why have you locked me away I could have given you everything" said the dark being. "You are too corrupt and a danger to this world, im sorry but I must destroy you" Zelectos said as he raised his arms and his body lit with golden energy. " I'm sorry too father" said the dark being as he raised his own hands in the air, a huge wave of dark energy launched Zelectos against the wall knocking him out and severely injuring him. The dark being then said "my name is nova now and I must show this world what true power is" nova steps into the air and flies into the sky.
An hour later Zelectos wakes up he groans in pain as he stands up and sees the destruction within his home .
"I must stop him" he says
He then opens his safe and pulls out his necklace which holds the fundamental energies from this world perfectly combined as one he then puts it on and grabs his favorite relic the all seeing eye and channels it asking for it to show him where nova is. It then shows him his old school he is at the field there, Zelectos thanks the eye then runs there. when he arrives he sees nova flying overhead "that's new" Zelectos says
"Your finally here father" nova says
"Put an end to this, if your anything like me you must know this isn't the way" Zelectos says
"I am not only like you I am more I can see the truth, humanity destroys everything they touch even each other why should I give them mercy."  Nova says
"Because even though humans have there issues so does everything else you can't do this why are you even at this field." Zelectos says
"Because this is the site of a large and brutal war and as you know death is a strong energy even hundreds of years later." Nova says
"you can't, I won't let you" Zelectos says
Zelectos then channels his necklace and glows gold again this time he points his hand at nova and speaks an ancient language. dark energy then flows into Zelectos and his golden energy darkens
"Your becoming like me" nova says with a smile
"Il never be like you" says Zelectos
A beam of dark energy launches from Zelectos grabbing hold of nova
"Ahh" nova says as he's pulled to the ground
" you may be stronger but you lack experience nova" Zelectos says and he forces nova to shift his form.
"How is this possible" nova says
"There is more than one kind of strength nova" Zelectos says
Zelectos chants louder and nova yells "noooo" as nova's form is lost and nova becomes the dark weapon he previously was a thousand year old shark tooth enchanted by Zelectos.
" I'm sorry nova but I couldn't let you do it" said Zelectos.
Zelectos then channeled nova and opened a doorway to a different world far from earth knowing the only way to protect earth was keep nova far from it. He then built a settlement there and wore the sharks tooth as a necklace so he could keep it safe. He decided to use its power to build a world where beings with gifts could live in peace." Zelectos finished telling the story
"And that is the story of lukanta" said Zelectos
"Wow that is a lot to take in sire" said ghacyrus
"Nova is still right here on my neck and one day nova will break free and we will be ready" said Zelectos
Salarius says "sire every time I hear that story I believe in you even more"
"Thank you salarius" says Zelectos
