CHAPTER 1 ( THE DEATH OF VAMPIRES )

In Year 1995..

Hazimilien's POV

"Selene! Where are you?" I looked everywhere in the castle but she's not there. "I had an idea maybe she's in her favorite place" so I walked into the forest then I saw selene holding a dead deer.

Selene is holding the deer with blood on her fangs and hands. The deer have vampire bites. "Selene what did you do?" I said it in a shocked face.

"I just saw this dead deer here in the middle of the forest and i sucked the deer's blood to know if the blood is still fresh" Selene said.

"So is it still fresh?" I asked her.

"Yeah that means someone of our kind ate this deer" she said.

"Leave it there before anyone sees us with it, Come on let's go back in".

Before even setting foot inside their castle, The King of the vampires called a meeting.

"I will not prolong this, hence, one of our kind violated our sacred law" King Ambrogio.

The vampires gasped. Me and my sister hid our trembling hands under the wooden table in front of them.

Vampire 1: Who is it?
Vampire 2: Imbeciles!

"Laurents!-who do you think it is?" The King said.

Our mom and dad can't understand what's happening, they don't know why the King is behaving this way and mentioning their family name in such condemning issue.

"Why can't you answer? Do you feel embarassed? FOR YOU HAVE WENT AGAINST YOUR OWN PROCLAIMED RULE?" The King said.

Everyone in the room sighed in disbelief, no one expected this from our clan
"Laurent" for we are known for our kindness and compassion for the other vampires.

Sucking the blood of humans or any living things without a permission from the King, and eating raw meat too much is prohibited, thus should be eaten in a human way, which is cooking it in oil.

Long ago 1883, All the vampires except our family are sucking human's blood and animals. They killed many humans so the Angels went to us. That time our kind would have been killed if not for Ahreddan and Carmilla, my parents. They made a deal that they will no longer kill humans and animals and in return, angels will not kill us but if they do otherwise the angels have the liberty to execute the vampires, that's why in 1883 the war between Vampires and Angels did not happen.

Back in 1995..

"What punishment do we have to give them, Sheriff?" The king said.

( Vampire Sheriff is a position of considerable power and responsibility within the vampire hierarchy).

Vampires: Death! Death! Death! They deserve it for breaking the Law!

The other vampires did not agree on the punishment but most of them are on the King side.

"Master, Grand Elders, and Great Elders all the Underlings were vomiting and they have gone crazy sucking human's blood in the neighboring countries, they're eating them alive!!. It's beneath our Law." The royal guard said.
