I looked at her black hair, hanging down her back. Her blue eyes glistening. She was breath taking. Her smile was so welcoming and bright. I quickly looked down, blushing madly, when she notices I had been staring. I looked down at my book, acting as tho I was reading, and feeling horrified that I had been caught.
"Hi. Are you new to town?" She asked as I slightly jumped and grabbed my chest. "My apologies! I didn't mean to startle you." She proclaimed as she Sat next to me.
"Oh, it's alright. I'm easily frightened. And yes, I am. My name is Jessica. Jess for short. And your name would be..?" I asked as I held out my hand.
"I'm Melissa. Pleasure meeting you." She smiled as she shook my hand.
"So, I've been meaning to look around town, but I don't know anybody yet.. Would you be willing to give me a little tour one of these days?" I asked shyly. It was a lie. I had been all over town already. But what else was I to do for somebody like her? Just pop out and ask if she's a lesbian? As if!
"I would love to! I'll give you my number, and we can talk about when works for both of us. That is, if you don't mind doing so." She smiled and blushed a little.
"I don't mind. It's a good idea. Here, this is my number." I said as I wrote my number down on a napkin, handing it to her. "Just text or call me whenever you'd like."
"Thank you. It was nice talking, but I do have to head out. Have a good rest of your day Jessica. Goodbye." She smiled and headed out the door of the café.
"Goodbye.." I softly managed to say. I sighed softly as I watched out the window. Her body was beautiful. She had the figure of an hour glass. Delicate yet strong. my stomach was doing backflips as she disappeared in the distance. My phones vibration brought me out of my trance. As I looked at my phone, I received a text message.
Hey. It's Melissa. I hope you don't find this weird, but I felt a slight attraction between us... Am I wrong?
I stared at my phone blankly, suprised at what I had just read. I shook my head and answered her back.
I was hoping I wasn't the only one who felt that...
I sighed and hit sent, worried as to what she may say. I gathered my things and headed out the door, a smile plastered on my face. Melissa on my mind.
