Scene 1:

It's been a day since that cold Sunday morning, where they found Curtis' dead body. It's Monday morning. Everyone heard the news about his death. Tosh, Matylda, Kim and some of Curtis' closest friends are not at school. Right now, Zoey and Sabrina are at school, walking around one of the hallways.

Sabrina: Can you believe it? Curtis is dead.

Zoey: I know. I was there at the party, when Tosh found him. I saw his dead body, lying lifeless in a dark alley. Apparently, he was shot.

Sabrina: Who would do that? And what for?

Zoey: (evil grin) I don't know, Sabrina. I really don't know.

[Eric and Rhys are also at school, walking around a different hallway]

Rhys: This is all too fucked up. 

Eric: You bet. I can't believe I was at this guy's party that night, and the next morning, he's found dead.

Rhys: I know. It all feels way too unnatural. I can't believe we're going to his funeral today... Like, who the fuck shot him?

Eric: Yeah... (sigh) Let's just go to class, and try to forget about this... It will be hard.

[They cross paths with Zoey and Sabrina]

Sabrina: Hey, did you guys hear about Curtis?

Rhys: Yeah. We even got to see the body, unfortunately.

Sabrina: ... What? How?

Zoey: They were at the party too, Sab.

Sabrina: Oh. Okay, that makes sense.

[A group of police officers show up at school. The 4 of them see them in the distance]

Eric: The hell?

[JJ is nearby. The officers walk up to him]

Police Officer: Are you Jeremiah Jenson Dempsey?

JJ: ... Yes.

Police Officer: You're under arrest. We suspect you may have been involved in the murder of your colleague, Curtis.

JJ: (nervous) W-what? I didn't do anything.

Police Officer: We're taking you to the interrogation room, and if you don't comply, you might have to spend the night in jail.

[Two officers try to handcuff, and arrest him. Everyone watches it happen, not doing anything]

JJ: (resisting) Get off me! This is ridiculous, I did not kill Curtis! Get your fucking hands off me.

[He offers too much resistance. One of the officers uses pepper spray on him, and it goes straight to his eyes]

JJ: (in pain) Aaaaaaaaargh!

[Doug shows up, and sees it happen in the distance]

Doug: (mad) Hey, what the fuck?!

[Doug walks up to them, and tries to attack the officers. Eric and Rhys hold him]

Doug: Leave him alone, you fucking pricks! He's innocent!

Eric: Doug, calm down.

[They take JJ away. Sabrina and Zoey walk up to Doug as well]

Doug: What the fuck is this shit?

Rhys: They think he might have killed Curtis.

Doug: Well, no shit! I got that. But why?

Sabrina: We don't know. They simply came here, and took him.
