ep 8

Jae Eon POV:-

Why did she run away? I thought for a second but stopped when i saw her purse on the ground. I quickly paced after her. After the turn she was nowhere to see, so I went towards her house. her old apartment. 

As I reached her apartment I saw her sitting and sulking on the stairs. I approached her and placed her bag infront of her and stood straight with one hand inside my pocket. "Still irresponsible huh?" I asked and she looked up to me and frowned. But soon she put back her pocker face and asked, "How did you know I was here." I sighed and replied, "because I know you wont go to your mom's house and also that I had a feeling you'll come here"

She sighed and got up picking her bag and stood straight facing me. "Gomawo" she said and left. Taking another step she stumbled back  and I rushed to her side to catch her and thankfully did so. She was shock but also in pain. I, not hesitating picked her in bridal style and told her to just open the door. As she push opened the door, I took her to the bed and layed her down, and looked at her, "Do you know where the ointment is?" i asked and she shrugged. "Might be in the drawer inside the bathroom..." and she stayed silent. 

I came back from the bathroom and sat next to her taking her ankle on my hand, "Where is it hurting?" I asked looking straight in her eyes just to realise that she was staring at me. She just stared at me and said, "My heart. It hurts in my heart.." her eyes softened and I knew that she was drunk coz her eyes were red and she was slurring in her words. My eyes became teary when i saw her look down and sniff. 

"Anyways, i guess you should go. ....Nabi might be waiting-" I cut her sentence saying, "We're not together Aera.... We were never together." I explained and then she looked at me with hopeful eyes. "Then- then why were yo-you both holding h-hands that day" her eyes got teary and small beads of tears flowed. I scooped near her wiping the tears with my thumb and tugging her back and smiled. "Her mom disowned her for some reason and she was drunk. And the men there were suspicious that's why I was bringing her here but then you came and misunderstood the situation and after that I never saw you......I thought I'll I lost you and that i will never get to see you again. I thought i lost the girl who i truly started to love." I said and wiped away my own tears this time. 

She shifted near me and hugged me, my head dug on the crook of her neck and she was stroking my hair. I quickly hugged her back, not being able to take it anymore. She slowly slided us under the covers and pulled me close to her with my head on her chest. I heard her sniff again and pull away one hand to wipe her eyes and hug me again. 

"I love you too" she whispered stroking my hair and I pulled her close to me.
