Chapter 2

??: We meet again, your highness.

You: *frowns* Yes... Yes, we did.

??: Nozel! You met the wizard king's sister before?! When?! How?!

Nozel: Solid, shut up.

You: For your information, I don't have to fool around as I am busy. Thank you for your time and hope we never meet again *smiles*

Nozel: You!

You left them and headed towards your brother who was talking to the captains of the squads.

You: Brother?

Julius: Oh! Violet, perfect timing. I wanted to introduce you to some of our guests.

 You: Greetings, it is an honor to meet the captains of the Magic Knight Squad.

Fuegoleon: So, you're his little sister that he has been bragging about this whole time? I got to say... You are pretty.

You: *huh?* Thank you for your compliment and as I say, you look dashing as well.

Fuegoleon lightly blushed at your statement which made Julius smirk. 

Julius: Since both of you are not busy, why not chat for a while? I have to greet others as well.

Fuegoleon: Uh! Well...

You: Then I have to come with you. I don't know everyone here so I am going to follow you and get to know others as well. 

Julius: Uhhhh, well! You need to know your guest very well so... Talk!

You: But-

And he left, leaving you and Fuegoleon alone... awkward. 

Fuegoleon: Would you like to grab a drink, your highness?

You: ... Sure. 

You were looking forward without looking at anyone and you felt him glancing at you. It was not the same as Major Gilbert. You did feel uncomfortable, but you went along with it.

You: This... This is delicious *slightly smiling*

Fuegoleon: *C-cute*

You: So, your name is Fuegoleon Vermillion. Tell me more about yourself.

Fuegoleon: I am the 2nd child in the Vermillion house. I have an older sister named Mereoleona and I have a younger brother and his name is Leopold. I am the captain of the Crimson Lion-

You: It must have been hard...

Fuegoleon stopped talking and looked at you. It was night and the moonlight was hitting your face, making you glow. For him, it was like he saw the most beautiful goddess until he saw your arm.

Fuegoleon: Your arms...

You: Huh? oh, these... I am an ex-soldier. I lost both my arms in my final war... also I lost someone I held dearly in my heart.

Fuegoleon felt a sharp pain in his heart. It did hurt him because your way of speaking and your facial expression tell... You love someone.

Fuegoleon: Who is that person you held dearly in your heart?

You: Well...

You looked down remembering his face and how he looked at you. You tugged onto your broach while thinking about him with a slight smile which made his heart flutter yet ache.

You: He was my Major. His name was Gibert Bougainvillea. He was from a noble family and was the Major of the army I was in. I was mostly called a tool... He was my master and I was his toy but later on, I realized that I loved him, deep inside me I had a warm feeling. I did not know what I felt nor how to show it. I lost him when I was 14... now I am 23 years old.
