Mylie's hands shook while she reached for the door handle
"Katie! i can't do it- what if they don't like me?"
Katie sighed and shook her head
"What is there to not like about you? silly, come on, open the door. I know you know who's there."
she clenched her eyes shut and pushed the door open, hearing a loud exclamation from people on the other side
"Two new people? that doesn't happen - well ever."
Mirage had his feet up on the table his hands laced behind the back of his head. the two girls looked over at him and he specifically caught Katies eye. Sending a quick wink her way which caused her face to explode red. Mylie dug her elbow into her side teasingly
most of the legends just waved or yelled a warm welcome while some came up to introduce themselves
speaking of introductions a tall dark skinned woman walked up to the both of them, a warm smile on her face, her hair fell slightly over her eyes. she extended her hand out to Katie. Then to Mylie
both girls shook her hand. Mylie held onto her fingers for just a tad bit longer than needed. being intranced in the way her eyes creased when she really smiled
"I'm Anita Williams. Code name; Bangalore."
she nodded and went to sit down with the rest of the legends
Loba was next. she slid in right behind Anita and reached for the girls hands
"it's always good to have helping hands. let me know if you ever need anything ladies i love to serve~"
Mylie smirked over at katie which katie quickly returned before shaking her head, she looked around for any other legends coming up, they both started to walk forward towards the main room when
an arm snaked around Mylie, weight leaned onto her side almost causing her to stumble and a flash of a picture being taken was seen from the corner of her eye.
"hola chica"
Katie heard the voice and eyed Mylie through her glasses.
Her cheeks were dusted pink and her blue eyes were wide on him. she coughed embarrassed by her reaction. should've guessed Octavio would've been like this with everyone.
"Hola Señor" her slightly shaky voice replied and Katie could've sworn she saw Tavi's face light up through the mask.
"ei! qué? hablas español?" he replied his arm falling off of her shoulders cold air brushed where his fingers once where
"oi! solo un poco"
Katie was confused watching the interaction till she felt a tap on her shoulder, her attention dropping from her friend
"hey - uh, sorry i don't speak any other languages" the one, the only, Mirage. he joked with her rubbing the back of his neck nervously
She sent him a warm smile tilting her head slightly
"that's not a problem! don't tell but- i forgot all the spanish i used to know"
he struggled to keep eye contact, but when he could she was taking in his eyes. the slight golden tint inside them the way they slightly wavered when he noticed that she was staring at him.
"so-" he cleared his throat nervously straightening his back "- you need someone to show you around... i was wondering if you'd let me."
Her smile only got brighter while she let out a slight laugh
"of course you seem like the right one for the job." she teased and he hummed while offering his hand to lead her the way.
Mylie caught Katies eye while she was dragged away by Mirage. Flashing a slight smirk in her direction.
