Chapter 7

Once you were in his room, you turned around only to be met with two worried men.

"Don't give me that look"

"Why shouldn't we? Sweetheart, please let one of us come with you."

"No, it's too dangerous. I have to go by myself."

"You don't have to, your choosing to go by yourself. And it's not fair! Why should we throw away the person we love? Why do you have to risk your life for thousand of others?"

"Because this is what I signed up for. I knew when I signed the contract that I have a possibility dying one day or the next. I chose to risk my own life for thousands, even billions of others! You both do the same thing everytime you have a mission. Every time one of you leave for a mission I pray it won't be the last time seeing your face. So don't tell what to do if your going to be a hypocrite.

Okay this is what I do. I wake up every morning hoping that I can make a difference in the world. That maybe, maybe, I can change. That there's a little kid somewhere that wishes to be me because of what I do. I want to help people. I want to make sure people are okay because that makes me feel like a better person." 

You started to get angry in the middle of it which made you start to cry as you yelled. 

"I don't want to talk anymore about this, I need to train."

You walked past Steve and were trying to get to the door, but Bucky was blocking it from you.

"Doll, please-"

"No, please, not right now."

You had tears brimming in your eyes as you looked at Bucky. Still barely making it through day 1 of dating without arguing yipee! 

"I have to train while I still can, so please can we talk about this later. Please"

You couldn't be here right now. Yes running from your problems, but who actually gives a fuck?

"Okay, we will. But, I don't want you to think we are mad at you okay doll. You are so strong and brave and truly I am proud of you-"

"I am too" Steve interrupts. 

"K thanks for the inspiration speech. Now that that's out of the way, I need to train."

Bucky moves out of the way, and you make your way out.
