I was calling her again and again but I didn't know why she wasn't picking it up. Ugh! It's been two days since I landed in this country and all I have done till now is to lie on someone else's bed. Well not someone else's but my friend's.
Whatever, where the hell is this lady!? Does she have to work today too? She really has guts to leave me alone in her home without informing me.
*phone rings*
"Hello? Wher-"
"Listen, listen, don't enquire. Just wear some casual clothes and reach the location which I a sending you."
"But how do I take a taxi?! Bro, I'm new here!"
"Just download this app and book one, it'll be easier okay?"
"Yes"
"You have only 25 mins. starts now."
I wore my not so casual coat as it seems it can rain anytime today, and grabbed my money and phone to leave.
After a little bit of effort with translation and help of a nice stranger, I got here looking for her.
"Hey, where are you? I'm here, just outside the restaurant"
"Here I am"
I heard a loud but tired voice behind me. As I turned towards her, she quickly handed me a bag most probably full of food.
"What is this? And why so in hurry?!"
"My-my friend needs me, I have to be there with him. He needs me! I'll explain you later. Just deliver it to this address"
"But-"
"I'm so sorry but they are important customer and we can't afford to disappoint them any more. You're going to get late. I sent you the address, please do me a favor!"
She was blabbering as if someone died or something but I thought to help her as she is one of the most reliable friends I have.
"Okay"
................
"This way, walk five minutes, and go inside."
"Thank You." I smiled to the old driver.
It rained. Right then and there when I got off the taxi and started walking towards the direction directed by the driver.
I hated it. Hated it cause it's already overwhelming for me to travel alone in this nation and now this, moreover I got my coat but why the hell did I forgot to take an umbrella?! Oh I recalled, I don't know where are umbrellas placed in Perry's house. Nice. To. Suffer. Alone."Ex-excuse me, I have to deliver it at this can you direct me? Help me?"
I said showing the address to the apartment."Uh, you go that 103 building and 2nd floor." I nodded and ignored the eyes of the security guard who's staring at my appearance from head to toe, probably perplexed at the drenched state of a me, a foreigner asking about the delivery.
I went, shivering and trying hard to look forward.
It was embarassing to be here in such silent, pristine area with such an appearance. The door of the lift opened as I marched forward to look for the apartment.
Ah, there it is.I pressed the doorbell and waited for someone to open the door as the door opened I put forward the food carrying bag and-----------
................
"Who-?"
A wet, heavily drenched in water, limp body fell on me and was about to slide down but I held it with my hands which is also holding the delivery.
