I glanced up at her heart monitor screen, seeing she had a steady heartbeat. Thank God, she's ok. What even happened? How did anyone find us in the guest house? ARE THE OTHERS OK!?
"E... Eddie?" Gabby had woken up. "Gabby! You're ok!" I got out of my gurney, hugging her tightly. "I'm alright." I started showering her with kisses, still hugging her. "I love you, Eddie." "I love you too."
Josh POV:
Mully and Kristy were in their hospital beds, still unconscious. I kept staring up at their heart monitors, seeing them beeping steadily. At least they're still alive. Hopefully, they'll wake up soon. They have to. I... I need them. I can't live without them. I never got to tell them how I feel.
"Guys, please wake up. I love you both." I started holding back tears, starting to feel doubtful about them waking up. They had lost a lot of blood before.
Kristy started shuffling around a bit, her eyes fluttering open. "H... Hey... Joshy." "Kristy?!" "Is... Is this heaven?" She looked around the room. I got up, holding her in my arms. "We made it out, Kristy. We're alive." Happy tears started running down my face.
She giggled as she wiped away my tears, kissing me on the cheek. "Y-You kissed me!" I held my hand to my cheek. "I love you, Josh." She held me close. "I-I love you too." I returned the kiss.
"Josh? Kristy?"
Mully POV:
I woke up, seeing Josh and Kristy kissing. Are they... No! They can't be! This must be a bad dream! "Josh? Kristy?" "Mully!" Josh ran over to me, hugging me. Nope, this feels pretty real. Josh is with her now...
"I'm... I'm alive? I'm not dead?" I snuggled my head into Josh's shoulder. "No Mull, we made it out. Jason's gone, forever." He comfortingly rubbed my back. "Is everyone else ok?" I looked up at him. "Everyone's still alive, but some of them haven't woken up yet." He answered me. I buried my face into his shoulder again. "Hopefully everyone's alright."
Ayden POV:
Beep... Beep... Beep. I opened my eyes, getting used to the bright light. I looked around the room, realizing I was in a hospital room. My arm and ribs still hurt like hell, but they felt a lot better now. I'm... I'm safe now.
"Dad?" My vision cleared, spotting Reekid across the room. "Hey Junior." "DAD!" He got up from the chair he sat in, hugging me tightly. "You're ok!" "Yeah, I'm ok Reekiddo." I hugged him back, relieved that we're both ok.
Narrator POV:
I held Lacey's hand as she laid on the gurney, unconscious. "Lacey, please wake up. I love you. I love you so much." I brushed her hair out of her face.
"I need you." Tears started forming in my eyes. "I need my baby Cinnamon Roll." I couldn't hold my tears back anymore. I let it all out, wishing I could take her place. I'm supposed to keep her safe, and I didn't.
"Teddy Bear?" I looked up, seeing Lacey's eyes open. "Teddy Bear, what's wrong?" "LACEY!" I quickly hugged her, crying into her shoulder. "I thought I lost you forever!" "Nah, I'm here." She giggled, hugging me back. "Lacey... I know now might not be the best time to tell you. But After nearly losing you, I know I can't keep this to myself anymore. I... I love you. More than a best friend. I've had feelings for you for a long time. My heart shattered when you started dating your ex. I felt like I would never get the chance to be with you, or tell you how I feel. But now that he's gone, I knew now was my chance. And if you don't feel the same way, I completely underst-" She kissed me on the lips, passionately, wrapping her arms around me. I melted into the kiss as well, holding her close.
Lacey pulled away from me, blushing. "Can I... be your girlfriend?" "Girlfriend... I like the sound of that." I gave her another kiss on her cheek. "I love you." "I love you too."
