Jalen p.o.v

GET UP NOW BOY ! WHY ARE YOU SLEEPING OUTSIDE !

I had woke up from loud screaming

I had jumped up to be faced to nobody other than my mother

I just stared at her because she must have forgot She Is the reason Im out here

Well boy are you gonna stare at me or speak up ! She said

I Just kept looking at her and didn't say a thing It wasn't worth it she was gonna think I was lying anyway

She look at me fixing her mouth to say something but Instead a hand came into contact with my face then some punches after

After she was done beating me for no reason I don't know why I Just got myself together and headed for school which was some mins away

I was in the car soo Happy it was time to go back to school so I could see Jalen

I haven't seen him since the day at Lyrics House

When It was time to wake up I hurried and called my dad when Lyrics mom got home

I didn't even speak to lyric or anybody else but her little brother while saying See you later

I didn't know If I would ever see him again I just don't like saying Goodbye to people

We had finnally arrived to school and daddy walked me In the building

I got used to walking myself to class so I didn't need daddy to do it with me anymore

When I walked into class as usually everybody stops what there doing and stares at me

I didn't pay it any mind and just went to my sit to start the day off

Hours had passed and I noticed Jalen hasn't even came to school yet

I started to wonder If he was even comming and that made me sad to think he wouldn't be here

I was getting ready to start crying but I stopped myself and ask could I go use the restroom

She said yess and I got the pass to leave and I was out that class

While I was in the hallways walking towards the bathroom I seen a boy walking

His face was all beaten up and he had one big black eye and cuts all over his face

I decided to walk over to him who ever he was to see if he was okay

I walked to the boy and touch him on his back and he turned around super fast

When I saw who it was my heart sunk to the bottom of my chest

First how does the front office just let him go to class looking like this come on now

Jalen are you okay ? I asked him but all he did was just look at me

I asked again and he did the same thing I don't like it when he gets like this

JALEN ! Do you hear me calling you answer me

Hope Im only gonna say it once who in this natural world do you think you talkin to He said

Im sorry Jalen I didn't mean to raise my voice

I know he is sad on the inside or something I wanna know what happen to him because he tends to keep his feelings in all the time

What happen Jalen why do you look all beat up are you okay

Baby you ask way to many questions just know Im fine He said

That was not the answer I wanted to hear at all *pouts*

You will be okay its gone be a lot of stuff I have to keep away from you He said

Whatever Jalen Im going back to class your being a meany *pouts*

I keep forgetting sometimes your only 4 he started to huff and puff

I didn't wanna talk to him anymore so I just started to walk away

I got turned back around soo fast it felt like sonic was the person doing it

Where you think you going baby we aint done yet come take a walk with me He said

What If I don't want to go take a walk Jalen can I pretty please go back to class

What I say goes now come on so we can take this walk He said

I was wondering the whole time would we get into trouble but I just went along with it

Hours Later

It was time to go home and all me and jalen did on our walk was talk, laugh, and enjoy each other presidents

It was a wonderful walk but I know I never did show back up to class I hope I don't get into trouble

You gone be Ight stop worrying Ima talk to ms.monroe ight He said

He just reads my mind because he always knows what Im thinking about all the time

Okay I said with the biggest sad face ever

Come on baby don't start that crying stuff now be strong for me okay

I just nodded and did what I was told

When it was time to go Jalen would always wait with me until my dad got here then run off when he saw him

Jalen waited with me for another two hours and that lead to some more hours

My dad seem like he wasn't coming this didn't sound like my dad we were talking about

I remembered his number so I asked the lady at the front desk could I use it and she just nodded she looked annoyed and ready to go home

I picked up the phone and called 6 times and nobody ever picked up

Whats going on baby were's your dad at Is he running late or something Is something wrong with his car He said

I bust into laughter even though this was not a laughing moment

Jalen just started staring at me all weird like something was wrong with me

I kept on laughing super hard like I was rolling on the floor

I finally stop and said you always talking about me asking a whole bunch of questions now look at you

This is all he looked like after I had said that 😐

I went back into reality and relized it was soo late it was 7 going on 8 we were suppose to been left the school

I came to reality and relized my dad wasn't coming

I started to cry my eyes out soo much My eyes got super puffy

The lady at the front desk left because she was ready to leave and she was annoyed with us still being here so she left before I had started to cry

Jalen just hugged me and held on to me and started walking us to ms.monroe's room

I think he knew what was going on with out me saying a word to him

He open up the door and told Ms.Monroe "we have a extra little lady that will be with us now"

All she did was nod her head and we sat down waiting to leave with her
