Ms & Mr Hamada

Chapter 2

Dad was working late with his experiments and mom went over to work today, they said it was important but they didn't tell me why. I knew my father was a famous Scientist where we lived, and I remember him telling me about how soo many people wanted his creations and would do bad things to get them. But anyway that left me ending up baby sitting my little brother, but I was fine with that.

We watched some Doctor Who for a while which was my favorite show and Hiro seemed to enjoy it. And then soon enough it was time for bed.

I picked up my little brother who fell asleep on the couch. And tucked him into his bed. Then I got into bed and tried to sleep.

In the middle of the night I awoke to the noise of glass braking from the living room downstairs.

My mother came running into the room.
I didn't understand what was going on...
"Tadashi, are you and your brother ok!!??"
She had a worried look on her face
"Mommy what's wrong...?" I was soo confused of what was going on right now...but then I heard the sound of a gun shot and my father then yell in pain
"Tadashi take your brother and run far away from here you understand!!?? Everything will be ok...We love you" "Wait Mommy...No I can't...What's happening?" I bursted out in tears "You must hurry...At least you both will be safe ...Now hurry you must go... Take your brother and run far away from here you understand?" I took my brother and my mother hugged us and then I left.
and so there I was running my way to the door and then out of the house with my little brother now crying "Wahhhh!!!"
"Shhh it's ok Hiro it's ok... we'll be ok...Your big brother is here" and then the house burst into flames,when I looked back I noticed someone escaping the house and disappear, but I only thought I was seeing things, I didn't know what to believe or think.

I was now alone running down long streets with my little baby brother... Lost in my thoughts, alone, homeless,had no more parents,and an orphan.
