The Pill's Fate... (Nightmare, The fallen King)

Ch,1: Nightmare's deadly mistake

Nightmare walked in his room after a loooong battle with Dream, Despite being the king of negativity and darkness, he felt depressed. More than half of his gang had left him for the good side, now all he had left was Error and Horror who were probably soon going to be gone too, After Cross said that NM wasn't keeping his promise to get his AU back, He decided to fight for good instead, Dust had been secretly dating blueberry and when the time was right, Dust just left without saying goodbye, Killer though..Killer leaving him hurt the most as killer was his favorite, color had changed him and taken him to the good side, Nightmare loved almost everything about him, How eager he was to kill, how good he was at doing it, how good he was at getting away with it, and his playful attitude lightened up nightmare's day even when he said he hated it, Nightmare sighed sadly recalling his good memories with all his members....

(The first memory)

"Come on Nighty! The cherry blossoms are out" killer said excitedly, "I'm coming, I'm coming jeez!" He responded "I have no idea why the fvck you are so excited to see a bunch of pink flowers" nightmare said bluntly "but Nightmareee! Look how pretty they are!" Killer said pointing, Nightmare smiled a bit "fine, fine, But I just came out here to watch you, nothing more" he said, killer squealed with delight as he ran down a hill and into a patch of petals "Haha!" Killer said, Nightmare blushed slightly

(End of memory)

Nightmare smiled at that one, it was his favorite, He then thought of another time when he and his gang went out for drinks

(2nd memory)

"Come on Horror! I'm betting on you!" Dust said while recording, Horror and Killer were having a drinking contest to see who could drink the most, Killer was at 15 shots while horror was at 9, Nightmare laughed at his idiots "guys isn't that enough?" Nightmare said, looking at them "nO iM noT dRUnK yEt!" Killer said, "oh really? Can you tell the time?" Cross said, killer then looked at a clock and shouted "iM nOt dRunK!" And they all burst out laughing

These positive memories were attracting someone...but Nightmare still smiled at the memories they had together

(With the star sanses)

"Why do I sense positive memories coming from...Nightmare?" Dream said to himself, he then thought again "no...it can't be Nightmare.." he said reassuring himself "Hey dream!" Cross said, Dream and cross were apparently now dating "hello cross!" Dream said happily "whatcha thinking about?" Cross said, "oh nothing!" Dream responded, they both went to the dining room "I MADE FOOOOOD!" Blueberry shouted "calm down baby-blue" dust said, they all sat down at a very large table and ate together, they laughed together and they smiled, that was until...Killer made a little bit of a mistake

"Why couldn't the skeleton go to the party?" Dream said "I dunno, why?" Dust said, "because he had no BODY to go with!" Dream responded, they all laughed and killer said "That was a good one Nightmare!" He then realized his mistake "oops, I meant Dream" he corrected himself, Dream looked at him "it's okay killer! Apparently you've been with my brother for too long..." he said, They all nodded though deep in their souls they didn't really mean it

(Back to Noot-Noot!)

Nightmare wasn't sure how long he could keep this up, the happy memories faded away as he was hit with the reality of the situation, Those happy memories meant nothing anymore, not to his gang at least, Horror walked in "boss? You...okay there?" He said, Nightmare was now a bit stressed that someone had interrupted his thinking "Ugh, what did we say about the knocking and what do you want Horror?" He said, annoyed. Horror looked at him "oh, am I bothering you?" Horror said, "no, no not at all, you clearly didn't just barge into my room!" He said, This made horror sad "Nightmare? Is there something on your mind that's bothering you?" He said worried, Nightmare sighed "Horror, please get out of my room" he said impatiently, Lately Nightmare has been getting more stressed about all this positive emotion and has become moodier, he got mad and upset at the smallest things and had developed a bad sleep schedule, he barely slept anymore "I can't just leave, I'm worried about you!" Horror said, he walked in "I said, Get. Out." Nightmare said coldly while turning away from him "but...Nightmare, you need someone to talk to" horror said again, Getting closer, "horror, out now, this is your last damn warning, I am fine" he said, getting angrier "but...boss I just wanna help-" horror didn't get to finish his sentence because he was shut up by Nightmare stabbing the wall beside both sides of Horror's skull and facing him with a terrifying face "GET OUT!" Nightmare yelled, Horror hung his head "y-yes boss..." he said sadly, he then whispered "I just wanted to help..."

Nightmare was pissed at himself for snapping at his last "Friends" for a reason that didn't even matter...again, Error had caught sight of horror "hey horror, why so down in the dumps?" He said, "Nightmare's angry again..." he said, Error then sighed "I'll go talk to him.." Error said, Horror sat on the couch, apparently Nightmare's negativity affected the entire castle at this point.

(SAD WARNING!)

meanwhile, Nightmare was in his room and he caught sight of an orange bottle on the top shelf of his bookshelf, He looked at it "What are these..." he said to himself, There was no label "It says don't take more than...blah blah blah.." he muttered, "Worth a shot, There's not that many in there..." he looked inside and there were six pills, He decided to just pour them into his mouth, Moments later he felt nauseous and dizzy,He threw up some of his black liquid and fainted on the floor

Error knocked on his door "Nightmare?" He said, he then came in "Nightmare? Where are..." he then gasped as he caught sight of Nightmare on the floor, looking sick, his tentacles which were usually moving around randomly seemed to lay limp on the ground, His eyes were barely open and his eye lights were flickering "OH MY GOD" he said glitching, Horror then ran into the room "Error?!" Horror then saw nightmare and ran over to him "HOLY SH*T!" He yelled out, Nightmare glanced weakly at them then shut his eyes, Error ran over to him and shook him "NIGHTMARE! NIGHTMARE OPEN YOUR EYES DAMMIT!" Error yelled

(Meanwhile with the stars)

All of a sudden, Dream had a feeling that something was wrong, but he just couldn't place his finger on it, he paced around his room "Dreamy?" Cross said as he came in "whatcha thinking about?" He then asked, Dream replied "Something feels...off, but I can't quite see what...did I forget something?" Dream then snapped his fingers "Aha! What if Nightmare is causing trouble again?" He said sure of himself "I felt positive emotions from his castle, but it was very faint, what if someone is calling for help?!" Dream then said again "you could be right, I'll get the others" cross said leaving Dream in his room, they gathered everyone and teleported to Nightmare's room "Nightmare! What are you-" Dream's eyes went black as he saw the state his brother was in

"N...Nightmare?"

"BROTHER!"
