"Umm, can we get-YOU?!" he shouted, his eyes widening as he realized the waiter standing in front of us was none other than Y/n, or should I say the "Rude Ass."
"Yahhh!! Why the hell are you shoutin', and what the hell are you doin' here? Can't you, for once, stop ruinin' my day?" Y/n snapped, her face filled with irritation.
"Bro! Are you freakin' kiddin' me, or am I trippin' balls?!" he exclaimed, still trying to process the unexpected encounter. "Aishh, Namjoon-ahh! She's real, and for the love of pancakes, lower your damn voice! People are starin'," Jin intervened, feeling a mix of amusement and embarrassment.
"Exactly! Now spill the beans and tell me what you want to order so I can get on with it... I ain't got all day to stand here listenin' to your drama," Y/n retorted, her tone laced with sass.
"But why in the world are you workin' here? Shouldn't you be studyin' or somethin'? And how did your parents let you take up a job?" RM bombarded her with questions, unable to contain his curiosity.
"That's none of your beeswax. Just give me your order and mind your own damn business," Y/n shot back, giving him a fierce look that dared him to push further.
Namjoon P.O.V
"That's none of your business, just give me your order and mind your own damn business," she said with a cold look.
Well, if it ain't my concern, why the hell am I even pondering over it? Why is she working here, and why the hell do her parents let her? Ugh, shut it, Namjoon! Ain't got nothing to do with this.
"Ugh, you even listening!?" Y/n shouted, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Huh... yeah, I ain't got nothin' to do with it. Just give us two caffè mocha," I replied.
"Yeah, coming right up in two freakin' minutes," she said and walked off.
Y/n P.O.V
"Oh my holy biscuits! This guy is seriously something! I mean, why does he have to be everywhere I go? In the holy moly cheese world, howww? Ugh, never mind... I'll just give them their order and... my shift is finally over!" I exclaimed in disbelief.
"And here you go with your Caffè Mochas! Enjoy," I said, placing the cups on their table.
"Thanks a lot, Y/n," Jin replied with a soft smile. Damn, he's looking so cute and handsome... Wait, what the heck are you thinking?!
"No problemo... A thank you from your mouth wouldn't hurt though," I said, looking at RM.
"Why should I thank you? It's your job, isn't it?" he retorted, sipping his coffee and smirking at me. Creepy.
"Never mind," I replied, forcing a bright smile (not the sarcastic kind).
With that, I quickly changed out of my café clothes into my regular ones and hurried away. Oh no, I forgot to tell Hoseok that I had a shift! He must be waiting there... Shit!
I rushed back home, only to find my bestie sleeping outside.
"Aish, how can you be so dumb, Y/n?" I muttered, facepalming myself.
"Hey, Hobi-sii, wake up!"
Hoseok P.O.V
"Yo, Hobi-ssi, wake your sleepyhead up," someone called out. I slowly opened my eyes and found Y/n standing there, looking all guilty.
"Hey, Y/n!" I greeted, grinning as I got up from my nap.
"Hey, Hoseokkk! Look, I'm really sorry! I didn't lie to you about my shift. I didn't have my shift today, but then my boss called me out of the blue 'cause some lazy bum didn't show up. I didn't mean to keep you waiting! My bad, really so-" she blurted out in a rush, but I had to cut her off.
"Hey, hey! Chill, you little piggy! It's not a biggie! I've waited like this before, no sweat! And seriously, ease up on the rap, girl, my ears are crying for mercy," I teased her, trying to lighten the mood, or else she'd be stuck in an apology loop.
"Yahhh! I'm not a pig!" she whined.
Well, she's cute when she pouts...
"Sure you're not!" I chuckled.
"Aish, you punk! Anyway, I really am sorry about the mix-up. Alright, let's head inside before you catch a cold," she said with a bored expression, but there was a hint of a smile.
"Alrighty then got your back! Let's go in, and guess what? I invited our crew too!" I said, grinning as I slung my arm around her shoulder.
"Oh, snap! That means Jk, Tae, Chim, and Suga are joining the party! Sweet!" she exclaimed, looking pretty hyped.
"Yeah, and Rm and Jin too! Figured it'd be cool to hang out and get to know them better," I explained, keeping up the good vibes.
