Before I joined Prime's team I was a little paranoid about our race's existence. I mean, there weren't many femmes left and we weren't about to just spontaneously adapt to the lack of valve in the universe. When Bulkhead invited me to join the team I was pretty reluctant. Unfortunately I didn't have much of a choice. My original team of Wreckers were pretty much wiped out, besides Bulk and I. Watching Seaspray's extermination myself forced a change of mind to me. I realized quickly that I didn't really want to offline for good so I agreed to join the "Team Prime" and take orders from a higher up.

Optimus's team was located on a planet that Bulk said was "teeming" with life. What kind of life I didn't really know, but I did know that the place was also infested with Megatron and his buddies. I didn't mind the Decepticon's there, I had enough inactivity myself but I didn't feel so hot about meeting the Prime (Bulkhead mentioned him later when I was in Earth's orbit) or his grumpy medic. But I had Bulkhead and that was enough for me.

I arrived quickly, not really wanting to be there but also a little obliged to come, couldn't leave the pack hanging, could I? Apparently Optimus was legendary, I heard a bit about him from the 'con's but other than that I was pretty much radio silent when it came to information about the war in general. Everything seemed to revolve around the Prime. Most of the talk I got about him was: Optimus this, Optimus that; Oh look, he's blown something up again. I was a little intrigued to meet the bot responsible for the big talk.

I'd received the coordinates from Optimus's medic, Ratchet, because apparently I couldn't just land my ship wherever and waltz right up to their base. The introduction was fast and a little dull, if I could be honest. The prime shook my servo, introduced himself and told me that it was nice to meet someone that he heard a bit about. I returned the favor, giving him a short nod as I manually turned the camouflage on the Jackhammer. I was far from impressed already, that is, until a groundbridge showed up pretty much out of nowhere.

"You got a groundbridge? How'd you find one of those in the middle of nowhere?" The medic snorted at my comment and question with a hint of sarcasm and replied.

"It was built." Optimus cleared his intake and the three of us stepped through the portal.

Bulkhead was the first to greet me and I wasn't surprised really, it was an interesting wakeup call.

"Jackie!!" A ball of green metal hurled itself at me and I didn't have close to enough time to brace myself. His huge frame blocked me from my ability to register the rest of the base as the ex-Wrecker pulled me into a huge hug.

"Nice to see you too, Bulk. Couldja put me down?" I was dropped to the floor and his dermas spread in a scrap-eating grin. I broke my contact from him and got my first look at the base, which wasn't all that bad compared to what I'd seen before. I was jerked away from sightseeing as Bulkhead started to introduce me to the other team members. Half of them I knew already: Arcee, Bumblebee and Ultra Magnus. There were a few new faces, Ratchet included. I'd heard of him once or twice, referred to as Optimus's "lap dog". Smokescreen was definitely a fresh face, never heard of him but I liked the kid already. There was another that Bulk said had just joined the team a few months ago and she stood quietly in a corner, only looking up when Bulkhead mentioned her name. Her name was Summer and she was obviously a femme. She definitely had the figure but just from looking at her could say that she had more inner strength to make up for the lack of muscle. What really stood out to me was just the way she looked, she was absolutely ravishing. Her armour was a beautiful shade of deep forest green and dark blue. The last time I saw a femme like her I was still considered a sparkling in my day. Summer was plenty shy, hardly talking at all but only nodding in acknowledgement. Bulkhead made up for her lack of talk with his, telling her and only her everything this processor could pull up about me in about thirty seconds.
