Okay this chapter has a LOT of romance.
Trollex and Sparkle are by a lake, Trollex skipping stones while Sparkle lays on her side on the picnic blanket looking at him. He still had that same throw from high school.
Sparkle: trolly can you please sit down?
Trollex: why?
Sparkle: because you've been here for about thirty minutes skipping stones.
Trollex: I'm just skipping stones *skips one more* w-what's wrong with that?
Sparkle: can you just sit down?
Trollex: okay. I'll make you a deal. If you can get me to lay down on the sand, I'll spend some alone time with you.
Sparkle: challenge accepted.
She does what looks like a hand stand.
Trollex: you think a hand stand is going to get me-woah!
She wraps her fins around his neck throwing him to the ground.
Sparkle: that enough for you little boy?
Trollex: fine!
They are on the blanket sipping wine and enjoying the sandwiches. Trollex then lowered his head to her fin. She played with his hair while stroking his cheek. He closed his eyes and purred. (Okay that purred phrase comes from another writer)
Sparkle: Tu es si chaud. (Your so hot.) (French)
Trollex: merci. (Thanks)
He smiles. His eyes still closed. He never wanted this to end. Just him and his girlfriend. (I know their husband and wife but it seems better BF and GF) he turns his head now letting her touch his face, her hands found themselves behind his ears. He got up and kissed her.
Sparkle: I don't remember the last time we kissed trolly.
He used his fin to bring her closer.
Trollex: me neither.
He held out his arm. She snuggled up to it hugging it like a teddy bear. She rested on his arm, looking up at the trees.
Trollex: I think it's time to go home.
They go home and start hanging up lights. Trollex picks up his daughter and holds her. He lets her put the star on top of the tree. They are decorating big heart rock. Branch comes down singing and with a basket.
Trollex: oh, yeah!
He opens the note. He almost immediately blushed.
Sparkle: ooh, I think I got a very important troll.
Trollex: m-me t-too.
Sparkle: you okay?
Trollex: never better.
Ava: I got an important troll too!
Someone comes over.
Daniels: hey...sir.
Trollex: who are you?
Ava: stranger danger!
Daniels: yea... I-it's been a while.
Trollex: oh, yea who's that Sargent I used to know? What was his name? Danny? Daniel?
Daniels: very funny sir! Might be a weird question but have you seen your sister?
Trollex: she should be back at the house. Why?
Daniels: umm... no reason sir.
Trollex: am I going to be an uncle?
Daniels: umm........... kinda? W-wait! I can explain everything!
Trollex: well start talking.
Daniels: well this one night me and Rhythm were on a date and we went over to my house and she somehow convinced me! I swear on my life sir! I regret it so but... there's nothing we can do now.
Trollex smiles. He puts his hand on his shoulder.
Trollex: I agree. Let's put down the shot glass and begin a new life. Ya never know. You might like being a father.
Daniels: thanks. I feel better. But I don't understand. Usually your supposed to be mad.
Trollex: but why would I? *chuckles* I'm going to be an uncle for crying out loud! At this point you technically are now a friend. Not war Sargent and friendly companion.
Daniels: thank you, you don't know how much I needed that.
Trollex: anytime Red.
