Marinette and Damian have been rivals since they were young. Marinette used to go to the manor all the time to visit.....until she moved to paris. Damian or Marinette would never admit it, but they missed eache other. They loved their little battles. Now they were seperated across the world. They promised not to forget each other.

Years later - Mari is 16 - Damian is 17 -

Mari POV:

I was sleeping. I had a dream about Damian. Again. I sighed and got up at the sound of my alarm and got ready from school. I lost that clumsy habit as soon as my feeling for Adrien died out. I looked myself in the mirror. My hair got longer over the years, I put it into a ponytail. I said goodbyr to maman and papa and headed to school.

RRRRIIINNNGGG

As the bell rang Ms.Bustier entered the classroom and started teaching. I swear school days are getting longer.

Damian POV: 

As I got home from school,  Todd dragged me into fathers office saying there was somethign important he wanted to tell us. As I entered the office, Father started talking about the issue in Paris that had risen. He told us about 2 hero's their. What ridiculous names and ridiculous suits(hold on there Damian don't enter the Chloe phase). Father assigned me and todd to go investigate. Out of all the people, Todd.

As I was trying to reason with father about bringing this lunitic to paris, I remembered something. Marinette is in Paris. I stopped trying to convince father and asked when the flight was. He said right now, even better. I know this was supposed be about the butterfly man in Paris, but I couldn't help but think about marinette and the thought of seeing her again.

Mari POV:

UUUGHHH school is sooooo loooooong. As soon as the bell rang I got up and rushed to the entrance. I was on the stairs outside when I saw someone that I never would have expected to see. Luckily people were still listening to Lila's lies and nobody saw me.

".......Damian?....."

I ran up to him and hugged him as tightly as I could as he hugged back..........wait. "DAMIAN!?"

"Hello angel" he replied. "why didn't you tell me you were coming!?" I asked. "well we didn't exactly have each others phone number?" he replied. Then I remembered, this is not how we were! "Hey you got taller than me!".

"I was always taller than you angel" he replied. "Show off".  I told him that we should go and greet my parents. Of course we fought on who gets shotgun in the car. Of course, I won. As we reached the bakery and went inside, maman told me that Damian will be sleeping on MY bed. I argued with him and he won. 🙄

And so our old habits got the best of us and we made a bet. Whoever could cause the other person to pay attention to them during the day would get to sleep on the bed at night.

~~Next day at school~~  

Suprise Suprise! Damian had gotten enrolled into Francoise Dupont High and is confident on winning the bet everyday. But he still had a feeling to let her sleep on the bed.....maybe even with him. NO. What was he thinking!? He shaked it off and headed inside. 

As soon as he walked into marinettes class and introduced himself, he got a lot of comments and a lot of girls trying to get him to sit with them. "Harlots" Damian thought. As he walked up all eyes were on him, wonedering where he would sit. He went right up to marinette, sat beside her and put his arm on her shoulder hoping it would make her pay attention to him. She just kept working on her sketches.

The class was beyond shocked. Why was this hot guy sitting next mari-trash!? He should be sitting next to Lie-L- I mean Lila!? The mindless sheep were about to go up to them but Mme.Bustier entered and started the lesson. Through the whole lesson Damian was touching Marinettes work, ruining SOME sketches(He knew what would happen if he ruined an important one....💀⚰🙏)and he even held her hand AND kissed her cheek! She still didn't break.

It was next period and now it was marinette turn, they both sat beside each other again. This time Marinette was making the moves. She cuddeled into him during the lesson. She held his hand. She kissed his cheek, But still, no reaction whatsoever. They were both set on sleeping on that bed so they got through the day,  and nobody won. Though through all of the actions, they both felt weird, a familiar feeling to Marinette and an unfamiliar feeling to Damian. 

~~At the bakery~~

They both tried to make the other pay attention and in the end......Nobody won. It was time to go to sleep and they were both deciding how to work this out.

"You can sleep on the bed"                                                                                                                                            "You can sleep on the bed" 

They both said at the same time. Silence. Marinette slowley started walking towards Damian and hugged him. "I missed you". "I missed you too". Then Damian started to speak up. he couldn't live with this feeling in his stomach.

"Listen angel, this might be weird to hear but I like you. No, I love you, ever since you left all I did was think about you. I know you probably don't like m-"

Damian was cut off with a soft feeling on his lips. "I love you too" Marinette replied. Soon they fell asleep, in each others embrace.

(And yes Damian completley forgot about Jason and and butterfly dude. He doesn't need all of that when his angel is with him)
