I thought about it for a second, I usually sit by myself. I mean I don't need anyone, I am a genius. Schools practically beg me to go to their open houses. I looked back to him to see he was looking slightly at the ground. My eyes get a little pink added to their usual grey/silver. I mentaly shake my head. "Ummmmm.... Sure." I say unsure. His head picked up so fast I thought he was going to get whiplash. "R-really?" he asks, trying to hide his smile. "Yah." I say dragging out the "H". "AWESOME!!!!! See you in class!" he said running to his friend Ned, leaving me a little confused but a VERY small smile pasted on my face.
It was now time for chemistry. I get to class and sit in my normal spot, in the back left corner. I set all my stuff up, because I am always early. The first bell rings and students start to fill in the class. I was writing what was on the board "not like i need to learn this again, i already know it" i say in my head. I feel a present sitting next to me. I look over to see a smiling Peter Parker. "Hi" he says, very excited. "Hey" I said, a little uncomfortable, but smiled. Class starts before he can start a conversation. I started taking notes not like it, I just needed something to do. I don't even know why I go to school. I am smarter than anyone here. I start to get this weird feeling that I am being watched. So any dumb person would look around, but me, i already knew who was looking at me. Peter.
After the bell rang I immediately started packing up. Surprisingly so did peter. I get up to leave and start walking, Peter is walking next to me. "Athena?" I hear. I turn around "yah?" I answer.
"I-um *clears throat* w-a was wondering if y-you wanted to hang out with me sometime?" he says stuttering shyly. I look at him a little curious. "Ummmm Sureeee?" i reply. I am so confused like why would he want to hang out with me?. I look him in the eye and his face is very pink. I bet he has a cold. "R-really?????" He says with no much hope. " I mean why not, could be fun parker." I replied. "OK!!! SEE YOU LATERRRRRR!!!!!!!!" he yells as he runs to Ned who is facepalming. "So weird," I said softly to myself.
