Here i stood. Not just in-front of a grave stone but in front of my best friend.
Isabelle Gomez.
Best friends since i saw the poor girl sat on her own in Year one. And inseparable since then.
Until the moment my heart dropped to my feet, the moment she saved my life.
I keep asking myself, why did i bring her?, why did i think it was safe? why did i let her jump in front of me? why didn't i push her away?

It all happened so quick, at one one Tommy's charity events me and Isabelle attended, he was in cold business with Luca Changretta at the time so why did i think everything would run smoothly?
Me and Izzy were stood in the middle of the dance floor just laughing and drinking, then all of a sudden a man dressed in all black ran into the room carrying a gun..... Shouting echoed through the building as he he held the gun up to me, and pulled the trigger. i prepared myself for it to happen but it didn't, izzy jumped in-front of the bullet, saving my life.
I should never had let her do it, no one else should pay for the crimes my brothers created, and as me being first on Luca's hit list due to my brothers, i should have seen this coming.

So here she is, so peaceful beneath me. I'm beyond Devastated, she was my rock and my forever. And now she's gone. I just let the tears stream, they have been for days as i lock myself away from everyone..... People think it's out of grief but it's also the fact that i'm scared someone else is going to get hurt because of me.
Aunt Pol says i shouldn't blame myself, but who else is to blame? i'll always hold Grief for what happened to her.

I'll love you forever Isabelle Gomez, i'll live out your name and never forget you. My rock, my best friend.
