A Wazak Love Story (kyji)

Chapter 1

KD's POV

I was walking down the street with my best friend, Kyle. We had just finished playing basketball when I saw a gorgeous girl walk past in the other direction. I turned my head to follow her movement. I wanted to know where she was going. She appeared to be heading to the mini-mart. Kyle noticed me staring at the girl.

"Don't even think about it, man." He said.
"Why? Who is she?" I asked.
"That's Anji Cruz. The only daughter of Aling Brenda." He replied.
"Wait, what?! That was Tots?!" I asked in shock.
"Yes, dude. That was Tots." He replied.

I couldn't believe my ears. My childhood friend Tots has grown into that beautiful girl. She was so different then what I remembered.

"Earth to KD," Kyle said as his voice broke my trance.

I saw Kyle waving his hands in front of me. He groaned.

"What?" I asked.
"Nothing." He replied.
"Really, what is it?" I asked.
"Don't try to make a move on her. Your parents will never approve." He replied. "And her parents are super strict." He added.

I sighed. I knew my parents would never approve of me being with her. Her family and my family have had a feud for ages. Anji and I would play in secret all the time. Only Kyle and Shai knew about us. Before I knew it, Kyle and I arrived at my doorstep. Kyle lived next door to me. Kyle entered his house, and I bid him goodbye when I saw Anji walking back. The gate in front of my place suddenly opened, and a man stepped out. 

"Anji, hurry up and get back inside the house before Dad sees you." The man yelled.

I saw Anji run toward her house. Before she went in, she looked at me and smiled. The man suddenly noticed me.

"KD, is that you?" The man asked.

"Yes," I replied.

The man went over to me as Anji went inside her house. The man smiled at me. 

"It's me, Albie." He said.

"Oh, hi Kuya Albie! It's been a while." I said.

"When did you get back?" Albie asked.

"A few days ago," I replied with a bright smile.

"That's great," Albie said. "I should play with you and Kyle sometime." He added.

"Yeah, sure," I said.

"See you around, KD." He said as he went back toward his house.

"Yes, see you around, Kuya," I said.
