Smile

Chapter 1

        Kezzly groaned hearing her alarm clock beep, she sat up at the end of her bed wrapped up in a blanket and prepared herself for the coldness of the morning air. She took in a deep breath throwing her blanket off and running to her alarm clock and turning it off quickly. Shr ran back to her bed wrapping her blanket back around her as she sat at the end of her bed looking at her feet. After a few minutes she got up walking to her closet.

        "What to wear today," she said quietly as she looked threw her closet. She saw a pretty light blue dress with a light crochet lace in the back. She smiled grabbing it of the wooden hanger. She set it on her bed and grabbed a pair of simple black Toms. She rubbed her eyes and put the dress on over her messy bun she had slept in the night before. She slipped on her shoes and rubbed the back of her neck walking to the bathroom.

        She looked in the mirror and sighed. She grabbed her Olay face washer and put the soap on her face washing it. She splashed her face with water to get the soap off. She dried it with a towel that grabbed her plain black makeup bag. She applied the basics; primer, foundation, bronzer. Then she put on a thick black wing of eyeliner. She grabbed her Healthy Lengths mascara by Neutrogena. She opened her mouth lightly applying her light pink lipstick and then applied a light layer of lipgloss. She stood on her tippy toes for a second when she finished taking in her appearance. She smiled and walked out the bathroom. She grabbed her backpack and walked down the stairs to the kitchen where her Mom and Dad were.

        "Breakfast?" Her mom Jane asked, 

        "I'm not very hungry I think I'll just have an apple, thanks though, I love you." She smiled grabbing an apple hugging her mom. As she walked passed her dad she leaned to her side and kissed his cheek, "See ya dad," She smiled walking towards the door. 

        "See ya sweetie, have a good day at school today!" He called as she walked out the door, she smiled walking to her car. She had a little black Volkswagen Jeta. She put her backpack into the passenger side of her slightly messy car. She tucked some hair behind her ear and backed out of her drive way heading on her way to school.

        Kezzly parked the car, she reached over grabbing her backpack and getting out of the car when she saw Jake on his way to school to. She bit her lip lightly. She did a little small jog catching up to him, smiled looking over to him, "Hey," She said her voice a little higher than normal because she was nervous talking to her crush. "Hey," he said looking over to her smiling. "W-what's up?" She said mentally smaking herself for studdering. "Nothing. Just walking into school," he shrugged looking forward. Kezzly laughed nervously. "Yea, that was s dumb question," She said she looked to the side so he couldn't see her and scrunched her face angry at herself. Jake laughed lightly smiling, "You can be so adorable," He smiled. He bit his lip graoning in his head, "god damnit, can be?" he thought to himself, "She's always cute," he bit his lip.  Kezzly smiled so big it took up almost all of her face. "Why thank you," she smilled. The class bell rang and she waved godbye wallking to class.
