Unexpected Love

Authors note: hey!! My friend @dancinleprechaun is giving me the ideas of the story and I'm writing it !! Hope you guys like it!!!

Prologue

" Shay you look stunning!" My best friend Rebecca told me.

" Thanks" I whispered looking down at my aqua blue strapless dress that I wore and stopped right at my knees. It matched my deep bulging blue eyes and my long dark brown hair fell slightly over my left eye.

" Are you nervous?" she asked.

" Kinda" I replied with a sigh in my breath.

" I can't believe it, you turned sixteen today, you old lady." she gasped

" Hey, I am older than you b-" I started

" Yeah, Yeah I know by 9 days yeah whatever remember we don't like to talk about it." she stated.

I rolled my eyes off of her gorgeous outfit too, she wore a pink v-neck dress almost showing her breast but not quite since her parents were going to be at my party.

" Ready?" I heard her asked as I was staring at myself in the mirror.

" I think so" I said as I was walking to the door out of my bedroom, which looked pretty childish. It had light puple walls and teddy bears at every corner and butterflies drawn on my walls also. There was a whole book case full with all of my accomplishments, certificates and trophies to science fairs to math team to field hockey to soccer to basketball.... all right I'm kinda perfect.

" Lets go" Becca said grabbing my sweaty palm and pushing me out the door. Then as I was being pushed I tripped over a teddy bear landing right into someones arms. I peered my eyes up to see it was Josh, oh thank god.

" Hey this isn't really how I planned to make my entrance." I stated climbing out of his arms. His dark brown eyes starred deep into mine and a smirk then smeared across his face looking at my dress.

" You look beautiful" He said admiring my appearance.

"Thanks" I said.

" I love you so much I'm so honored to call you my girlfriend." He whispered as I blushed to the word the love. I knew it was truley the other way around though I am the one that should be honored. I was so happy the day Josh had asked me out and told me he liked me. Josh was the biggest jock in high school, but not like snobby, dumb or a pig or anything. He was just sweet and was on the math team with me and.........he is just the best and most long lasting boyfriend I have ever had. Our 2 year anniversary coming up next week. I truly do love him too.

" I love you too." I whispered back to him with a smile. I them looked at everyone in my house having fun, laughing, flirting, ah perfect. I walked into the kitchen while grasping Josh's hand and saw my older sister Rachael. We looked exactly the same it was quite scary actually. Then I saw her with her boyfriend, Logan, they were making out as usual. Then I walked into the dinning room and saw my parents.

" Happy birthday sweetie!" my mother shouted while pulling me in and kissing my forehead.

" Oh my your getting so old now, wow 16. Honey, look me and your mother would just like to let you know that we are so proud of you and we love you so so so much!" Dad protested. I just gave a half smile and they both pulled me in to an loving and awkward hug considering my friends from school are here. I have everything I could have ever wanted a perfect boyfriend, parents, sister, friends, smarts, house, school, party .......... so perfect nothing could ruin this moment.
