When I had to tell the truth, I had to admit i was scared. Scared of myself. Scared that I would hurt someone.
It killed me from the inside because I knew I could do something about it.
I was scared that it would repeat itself. That the same would happen like it had before...
„Nathan? Nathan? NATHAN! SNAP OUT OF IT!"
„WHAT?",I screamed confused as I look at my sister. „Gah!Ella look at the street! You will kill us!"
My sister stopped the car in the middle of the road. God, she will kill us like this one day...
She looked at me like it was my fault that she stopped the car in the middle of the road.
„What?",I asked her angrily.
„Nathan you think too much. Relax a little bit. You're only 16. You have your whole life in front of you!"
„How would you know that I'm thinking about something, my dear sister?"
„You do That Little Finger thing when you think about something to much."
„Oh..."that kinda left me stunned.
She started the car again and looked at her watch.„Oh fuck. I will be late for work! I won't get to see that sexy secretary today! It's your fault!Just because I have to drive you to school. Can't you just take the bus or... or ask someone?"
„ I asked someone already Ella, you!"
„Haha, funny Nathan. I mean it. Just ask your friends or anybody else."
Ugh critical hit
„You know that I have no friends probably for the best. And you also know that it is practically your fault for always loosing jobs and having us move houses."
„Yeah Yeah. Now get out of my car you asshole."
So i stepped out of the car to get to the principal office. I mean it's a new school! Again.
You need to know that me and my wOnDerRfUl big sister are living alone. My sister is around three years older than me, which means she's legally an adult. So she's taking care of me. Or rather "trying" to. She never finds how she calls the 'right' job. This is why we move a lot.
I kinda got used to it.
As i walkt throw the main hall i could felt many eyes on me. It was really annoying. After a few minutes i was standing in front of an big oak door.
It screamed: „I'm important."Knocking on the door, i could here a faint, yet Off-putting „come inside".
I stepped through the door to see a woman in her mid 30 dealing with paperwork. She had black hair flowing down her bag lengthier then mine and green eyes who could kill.
Her suit was in a blood red and had the symbol of the school on the left side, a crest the size of a Greek shield with red roses decorating inside.„Name?",she asked me, without looking at me. She seemed really stressed out, and as if she'd let it out on me any second now.
„Nathan Dawson."
„Mhmmmmm. You're the transfer student, right?"
„Yes, so it seems Mrs."
„Okay",she replied. Now standing in front of me ,she gave me some paper. „So Mr. Dawson, let me explain it to you: in this school you can't just 'transfer'",she said spitefully",like you did in your other schools. It doesn't work like that. You also probably know that only the best of the best will graduate hight school here. So you must work hard. Also, you will be exposed to the terror of this school as soon as you step out of this room. You'll understand soon. Good luck, you will need it."
With that, she sat on her chair again writing like nothing happened.
I swear she just appeared and disappeared before my eyes.
Looking at the door, I stepped out of her office.
