Chapter Twenty Three: Sam.

A few hours later she still was shivering and she hears a cough and a splutter "S-Sam?" Ellie says as she sits up she sees her brother coughing and spits out bloody water "Hey easy." Ellie says as she tries to keep warm and she builds up a fire and strikes it "Here you go let's get you patched up first then we will give you something to eat and we will give you some clothes." Ellie said to Sam as he winces at his side, Ellie then went over to Sam as she took his coat off and got out the first aid kit "I'm not gonna lie it's gonna hurt like hell." Ellie said as she applied some iodine to his wound. Sam groans in pain "There all down now stay still as I suture up your wound and bandage it." Ellie said as she stitched up and wrapped.

"Eat this and then sleep I've gotta call Dean." Ellie says as she handed him a sandwich and a bottle of water Ellie goes outside of the room and calls Dean "Dean, It's Ellie I've found him he's hurt but nothing to severe I'll come back once he's got some strength back into him." Ellie says as she hung up to go back into the room, Sam is sleeping as she walks in to stoke up the fire "Sam. Your going to be okay once we get back home we can look at you a bit better." Ellie says as she lays beside her brother with some fresh clothes and puts them on him then falls asleep.

A few days later the sun was shining and Ellie woke up feeling worse and she sees Sam up "What are you doing up?" Ellie asks as she gets up to go and get the keys of Baby "Let's go home Sam." Ellie said as she helped her brother to the car, as she's driving home she coughs a little bit while she is shivering because of the cold "Thank you Ellie for coming back for me." Sam says "Thank me when we get you home." Ellie says as she rolls down the window to vomit. "I'm fine Sam no need to worry about that the important thing is that your alive." Ellie says as she rolls back up the window as the Impala pulls up to the entrance of the bunker Ellie helps Sam out of the car and they go into the bunker "Dean! Bobby! I'm back!" Ellie shouts and Dean and Bobby walk through and see Sam. "Sammy?" Dean asks in a whisper "Is that you?"

Sam nods as Dean pulls his brother in for a embrace "I'm glad your here man I thought we lost you, Sam I'm sorry I left you when we were kids and I promise as long as I walk this godforsaken earth nothing will ever pull us apart and that is a promise I will take to my grave." Dean says voice cracking while he hugs his little brother "Thanks man, I'm just glad that Ellie found me in time I thought I was going to die." Sam said with a smile "I'm gonna go clean up" Sam says as he left.

Ellie looks at him with anxiety and worry "I'm worried about him guys I don't know if that's even him that I brought back to the bunker." Ellie said as she sat down and drank a beer, Bobby and Dean sat down with Ellie "Ellie, you did a great thing. Don't doubt yourself about it." Bobby said to the Winchester.

Later that night Ellie was sleeping in her bed until she heard a voice "Ellie." Sam whispered in a sinister way "Wh- what time is it?" Ellie asked as she rubbed her eyes as she looked at her watch it read 2:30am "Dude you okay?" Ellie asked as she sat up she then saw Sam's eyes glow red, "Dearest sister I am far from alright I am simply delighted." Sam says as he knocked Ellie out and took her away.
