you were excited for erik to be home he said around 6:00 so he was going to be home soon.
you were getting suspicious of erik hes been acting different and you didnt know why. You didnt want to bother him and remind him that his parents were dead but you had to know why he was acting that way. You didnt know what to do.

Would she find out that you killed your parents. Would she be suspicious of you since you were acting different? You have to pretend. Would she know you were pretending? You had all of these questions and you were anxious and worried all of the time. She would have to eventually find out about it. Would she still love me? You guys had been together for 2 years i think she would maybe.
It would be fine she doesnt seem suspicious if she asked about it you could say it was that youre greaving or something yeah yeah maybe i should ask lyle about it.

Erik- hey Lyle i have a question
Lyle-what is it?
Erik-what should i say if y/n asks me why ive been acting different?
Lyle- i dont know say its abt our parents dying or something i dont think she will ask though she will think its rude or something since our parents did literally die like 2 weeks ago.
Erik-ok that sounds like a good idea but im scared that she is going to find out and that she wont love me anymore.
Lyle-she will you dont have to worry about that.
Erik- are you sure?

You knew Lyle wouldnt lie to you about this so that made you feel a little bit better but know you were thinking that what if the police found out and they took them to jail. You had a good reason to kill them it was out of fear and because the amount of abuse you have gone though since your childhood that a good reason. But what if they thought they were lying they werent so why would they it was all out of self defense. They would believe him if they found out. Right? You pushed those thoughts down and now you were worried about getting home you siad you would be there by 6:00 it was 6:10 but you didnt have that long left
You got home and opened the door to see y/n sitting on the couch watching tiktok
when she saw you she jumped up and hugged you. You hugged her back but when you saw her you were splashed with guilt. You pushed it down and sat on the couch with y/n and you sat there on your phone you were filled with guilt you couldnt keep it in but how would you tell her without thinking it happened
Erik-Me and Lyle killed my parents.

She sat there in silence you didnt know what to do.

then you heard the door open so you jumped over the couch and ran to erik and hugged him tight
you both went to the couch for about a minute until something happened something you suspected but you werent completely sure of

i couldnt believe he was a murderer why would he do that they seemed like an amazing family with no problems at all
