The Wedding

It was the day of Ikaris and Sersi's wedding. I was helping her with the decorations and her dress. But your mind was just on Druig and what happened at when I fell on him, that was awkward.

"What are you thinking ab-ow." Sersi shouted. You might have put the hair pin to far and it scratched her scalp.

"Sorry, nothing." You said calmly and continued to her hair.

-time skip-

"Will you Ikaris take this beautiful lady to be your wife. And to keep her safe and love until you die." You said finishing your speech.

*Yes you where their vicar at their wedding. They didn't want some random hosting their wedding it was too important.*

"I do." Ikaris said looking at the love of his life.

"Then you may now kiss the bride." You said clasping your hands as they kiss.

Ajak was crying with happiness, and the rest were also happy but not crying.

"Yay. I'm so happy for you guys." Makkari signed to the married couple.

"Thanks guys." They both said.

-another time skip-

After the wedding you could tell that Druig and Makkari were getting closer and closer with every movement he made. You went to sit down at a table to get some food.

"You okay. You haven't been your self after the wedding." Thena questioned. Sitting down next to you.

"Y-yeah I'm fine, just tired." You answered. Looking at Makkari and Druig dancing to the music.

It mad your heart sink. You loved Druig but you wanted to be happy for your best friend so you didn't question it.

"Y/n, listen to me." Thena said reaching her hand out to put it on yours.

"I told you I'm fine." You said hoping she would buy it.

"No, your not. I can tell you like Druig. Talk to him." The woman said looking at you in the eyes.

"Okay fine, you got me I like him, but he lives Makkari and I have to be happy for my best friend." You laughed.

" I love you, but you can't fake it, it's not good." Thena said getting up and pulling you out of your chair.

"What no, what are you doing." You said scared she was talking to Druig for you.

"Come dance with me." The goddess shouted over the music.

"Ugh fine. But I'm really tired." You shouted back.

-time skip- this is all a dream.

Your all out of breath from dancing and have such a good time. To relax and just let all your stress you away, until.

"Hey y/n. I was wondering if I could talk to you." Druig asked kindly.

"Uh yeah sure." You answered. He sat down next to you putting his head on your lap.

"So I like this girl and I don't know if she likes me back. What should I do?" He continued. As your heart sunk.

"Oh uh well you should see if she likes you back. If she talks about you being your back. Good things. Compliments you everyday. Or just generally likes being around you." You said looking down at the boy on your lap.

"Okay I'll be right back." He gets up and leaves you at the window.

Some one walks in hoping it wasn't Druig. You needed to talk to someone else except you best friend.

"Y/n, I did it. I told Makkari that I love her." Druig said with excitement.

"Oh wow. I'm happy for you." You said putting on your best fake smile.

"Yeah wow. I'm so happy. You okay with this, right." Druig asked waling towards you.

"Yeah of course, your my best friend and I want what's best for you." You said looking at the very excited boy standing infront of you.

"I've got to go but I'll speak to you tomorrow." He said waving and leaving the room.

It fell silent. Even the silence was loud. Way to loud. All you could do is go to sleep and hope for the best tomorrow. Hoping this is all a dream.
