Yandere rantaro x Shy maki fanfic (unfinished)

At his house

Maki arrived to rantaros house a few minutes early, taking a few deep breaths she knocked on the door, his house looked huge as if the size of a mountain. The door slowly opened to reveal rantaro with a genuine smile as if he had been waiting to see maki for weeks, or even months, "Please! Come in, make yourself at home! I'll be in the kitchen if you need me for anything in particular!" Maki watched Rantaro leave, the same fluttering as before had returned to maki's heart, ignoring this maki walked to the couch and sat down. Maki thought to herself, "Why on earth would someone like him want to know me? He's a lion...and i'm just the little mouse he could easily throw away if he wanted to..." It appeared to have been only seconds to maki when she heard a voice call her name, bringing her back to reality. When she looked, rantaro was staring at her with a worried expression, "Are you alright?! I saw you sitting here and when i tried to call your name there was no response!" Rantaro explained, "i-i'm alright...i just zoned o-out.." maki answered to rantaro. Rantaro took maki's hand, "If you want to talk about anything to me, i'm always here." he exclaimed. Maki could feel the brush creep silently across her face as she slowly got up "i-i'll remember that....t-thank you r-rantaro.." she said in a shy tone. Rantaro held her hand for a little longer before letting go and sitting next to her on the couch. Maki couldn't help but to feel comforted by rantaro's presence, it was as if just being next to him could bring a smile to her face, even on the worst day. Maki sat back down on the couch and looked to rantaro, "s-so...w-why did you c-chose to invite m-me over..." she asked, "Theres just something about you i like, you're kind and have good manners, not to mention you are quite beautiful! what more reason would i need to invite you over?" rantaro replied. Maki couldn't believe these words, she felt as though she could faint, be it from excitement or embarrassment.
