Gracie's family hadn't seen her in multiple days so they decide to have a massive search party, with all of their friends and family trying to find her. Gracie's middle sister, Gina, remembers that Gracie had said that she was going to the beach to make some sandcastles and to look for some nice looking shells. So that is exactly where Gina starts to look. Straight away after about 500 meters of walking along the beach, Gina finds a hole. The same hole that Gracie had found the wooden box with the strange book inside. Gina approaches the hole and she slowly looks inside. Inside she sees a box filled to the brim with water and a book inside. Gina picks up the box in the hole and takes the book out. To her surprise, the book is completely dry, not a trace of water could be seen. She doesn't think anything of it, and since she loves old things, she takes it home to check it out without telling anyone.

When Gina got home, she sat on her bed and started examining the book, fascinated by how old the book seemed. The book was called 'The Sorcerer's Deed'. She loved old stories and especially old tales. Since Gina has a massive book collection, full with old modern books, she places it on her bookshelf next to her bed so she could read it later at night.

After dinner, Gina walks into her room excitedly because she could read her new book. She opens it to the first page and soon realises that there was no words. Flicking through the pages, there was no words to be seen... apart from one on page 38. 'GRACIE.' It read. Suddenly, her room went black, she could see nothing, nothing at all, she could hear a shuttle wind from afar. THUD! She lands on the top of a tree.
