I exited the lobby and headed for the elevator..

The building had over 40 floors and belonged to one of the most mischievous men that I know

Clyde.

That's it just Clyde , I never got his last name nor do I wanna know

He was one of my regular costumers that payed heavy amounts to see there enemies drop dead

The elevator had taken me to the 40th floor and I made the journey to his office

"Knock knock" I said opening the door

Clyde was sitting on a leather chair by his desk stacked with paper work and fancy pens

"Why hello there karma" he said

Karma.. that was my name in this job and world, the single message of giving back what has been received

The thought crosses my head thousands of times " one day I'll meet my own karma"

Clyde let's cut to the chase .. 100k flat nothing more or less

"100k??? Have you lost your mind" he said shocked

"I didn't stutter did I, or did you forget that Zaire is-well was an infamous drug lord that has a sex-trafficking ring" I snapped

"Need I remind to you that I told you the higher the rank the more money" I crossed my arms

Clyde slid his hands across his face and reached for his phone

"I want it wired.." I said

" sometimes I wish I can just push you out this window , do you know that?" He said

"Welp then you won't have anyone to do your dirty work for you" I teased him

But that was the truth these rich men couldn't admit .. they needed me to do the jobs they didn't have the balls to do and if they did then I wouldn't have needed to work.

He rolled his eyes and placed his phone towards me "see 100k straight to your account not a penny less" he mocked

"Pleasure doing business" I smiled at him

"You know I can give you a different type of bonus if you want" he said raising his eye brow

"I will literally shoot you in your dick if you ever try that again" I snapped

"We'll damn" he laughed

"I like em feisty" he smirked

"Speaking of feisty your receptionists looks likes she burns people might wanna get checked out" I said laughing.

Clyde was always flirtatious but there was only a unspoken word in any job

"Never sleep with your clients".

I made my way from out of his office and headed back into the elevator.

I envied this building, his life of luxuries and fast living.

Being able to have someone do something for you at the snap of a finger

The elevator displayed the beautiful city of New York's downtown area , filled with shopping outlets and bright lights .

The doors opened to the lobby once again

My eyes glanced to his reception rolling up her skirt

I walked in her direction . She flinched at my presence

"Roll it down , you look a mess" I told her as I pushed the glass doors and headed out for my motorcycle
