It was a Wednesday morning and I was getting ready for school. I was eating breakfast and was about to leave but decided to check the school gossip group chat. I'm quite popular and am friends with people who were known to bully, although I don't participate.

???: Did you hear? Some dork said that they found the lake!
??: Their probably just lying, why would some nerd be able to find the lake? It doesn't even exist!
????: Who exactly "found it"
???: It was that weirdo Jess, no wonder nobody likes her lmao

Someone found the lake? This made me quite curious I and decided to talk to her.
There was this rumor that if you find the lake hidden in deep in the forest behind the school, it can transport you to another dimension, I know its only a rumor but I wanted to see for myself.
When I arrived at school, I headed to my locker to grab my books when I saw Jess getting pinned up against the locker, she had a red hand mark across her face. "You little bitch! You think your actually funny trying to make a fool out of me?" It was Mark, my really good friend, he was really smart and was good at playing the drums. All the girls were all over him but he never really paid attention to them. "No, please don't hurt me I was telling the truth!" Jess was begging for him to stop but he continued to shove her into the locker. "Mark, get off of her!" I screamed across the hallway "why should I? Little miss dork tricked me into believing that she knew where the lake was, can you imagine how much money I would make?" Mark growled, I quickly pulled Jess away from Mark and shouted "bullying doesn't make you cool" as I walked away with Jess.
Eventually me and Jess reached the bathroom, it smelled like shit and there were cum stains on the locker doors, along with slurs written on the walls. "I'm so sorry about him, are you okay?" I asked her "Yeah, I'm alright." Jess quietly mumbled, "well, I heard that you know where the lake is right? I have always found it so interesting. Would you be able to take me there at break?" I asked, Jess happily nodded as the bell went for period one to start "well then Jess, I will see you after school. Let me know if my friends ever give you trouble"
Period one already started and as per usual, the teacher was ten minutes late, "oh my god, why does this teacher always take so long!" I heard a familiar voice yell from the desks beside me. Her name was Emily, she was a complete pick me girl and had dated nearly the whole footy team. "Oh, hey Emily....." "Hi Casieeeee" she responded cheerfully, even though this girl was a total bitch, she was still my friend. She walked up to me and I just remembered how short she was, I was about 5'9 and she was around 5'1. "did you read my messages? Like, you NEVER respond to meeee!" she whaled, I opened my phone to see 28 new messages and 17 missed calls from emily "sorry I guess, I was busy" I replied, she looked up at me with a look that was up to no good "how about we skip class while the teacher is gone and talk about boys!" she squealed as she practically dragged me out of the class, she was surprisingly strong for her size and nobody dared to get in her way because one way or another, she'd make their lives hell.
IN THE BATHROOM
"Sooooooooo, I wanted to talk to you about this guy that I really like!" Emily rambled, listening to her talk about boys was hell, she yapped on and on about this jerk named Anthony. He was one of the nerds but quite popular amongst the girls, he was highly intelligent and was quite good looking if I do say so myself.
It felt like ages that she talked about that bitch until the bell sung its glorious song, I ran out of there as fast as I could to my next period to try and get away from emily. I jogged through a few corridors until I reached my class where everyone was waiting for me.
AFTER CLASS
I stumbled back to my locker to grab my lunch, completely forgetting about my deal until jess approached me and grabbed me, before I knew it, I was in the middle of the forest standing next to an oddly bright blue lake. I was in some sort of grove, the vines elegantly waved down to the floor and flowers that I had never even seen before were growing. The grotto's atmosphere was glowing green and the butterflies flying around glowed shades of pink, blue, and orange. "Didn't I tell you it was here, the rumors are true!" A familiar voice yelled behind me, it was jess, although she looked oddly different. Her ears were long and pointed and her eyes were a bright shade of violet. "What happened to your ears??" I asked her "ugh, I don't think I've told you yet. Im an elf who lives in this other dimension, we call it fantasia and I need some new humans to experiment my potions on." Before I could react, I was pushed into this bright pond and I blacked out.
