" Its the first day at a new school , its going to be fun surely " is what i kept saying to myself , to hide the fact that im literally shitting myself. This is my third school i've been to in the past year. due to my mums job, we have had to move a lot . I never mind it , especially when ive not made a lot of friends in a certain place. My mum always says its like having a fresh start, which i guess is kind of true.
I went pick my clothes out for the day. I want something that's nice but not over the top, just something casual. After a few minutes of searching i found a nice pair of jeans and chucked them onto my bed alongside a white top . Perfect , casual but a nice outfit . So i got ready and took some pictures of myself . I was feeling quite good about myself today which is a good start. I posted a picture to my Instagram. I never really post but today for some reason i felt like it.

Jesy is my best friend. I have known her since i was a little kid. We used to go to the same school then i had to move, no surprise there. Then Jesy moved to this area where i live now. She goes to my new school so at least ill have one friend to talk to incase i don't make any others- which is probably very likely to happen as i have really bad anxiety. I have had it for about 2 years now and it just comes at the most horrible and awkward times, like now , on my first day of school.
I went downstairs and saw my mum making two cups of tea. I didn't expect her to be up, she probably just wants to make sure I'm ok for today.
"Morning Perrie" my mam said
"Morning Mam" I sat down on a stool at the kitchen island as my mam passes me a cup of tea. I thanked her and she sat down next to me.
" so how are you feeling?"
" I'm feeling a little nervous but also a bit excited to see new people, that's if I have enough courage to" i took a sip of my tea.
"aww , im sure you'll make some friends and you have jesy so you will be ok, and you can always text me if somethings wrong,yeah?" my mam said in a comforting voice.
" yeah, thanks mum " a give my mam i quick hug then looked at the time on my phone.
8:40am
" there is 20 minutes until school,i should go now"
" ok then pet , ill drive you there so you are not late" i nodded my head as my mum got the car keys and we both get in the car.
It was quite a sunny day which is a good sign. My mum put on the radio and i was singing along to some songs. I didn't really know a lot of them however i was singing to some words which i knew from more popular songs. After 18 minutes of being in the car , i kissed my mam's cheek and thanked her once more then headed inside...
