A life changing night

The morning following the crazy night

As the two boys started to wake up, Patrick full of excitement pointed out the amazing smell of sizzling bacon and pancakes. Conner was in a state of panic as he had not wet the bed since the 2nd grade. Patick noticed Conner's state of confusion and anxiousness. He was about to ask Conner what was wrong but then Conner bolted to the bathroom in fear of what he had done. He quickly ripped off the diaper and threw it away and he started to think about if it may happen again, then that thought led to worry of if it may occur during the daytime as well. He then realized that he had to ask for a towel. 

However, when Conner peeked his head out the bathroom door Patrick was nowhere to be seen. Conner then looked around the bathroom for an unused towel, but he was unable to find one, so he decided that he did not need a towel. After he got out of the shower and got dressed, he went to go to find Patrick. Conner then walked into a room with the aroma of maple syrup and blueberry pancakes. There was Patrick stuffing his face with pancakes and his mother drinking coffee and finishing flipping the bacon. Patrick then commanded Conner to sit next to him and eat. Conner did so as the last bit of food he had were the snacks he bought at the store before the sleep over. As Conner started to dig into his plate full of food Patrick whispered in Conners ear that he was very thankful for Conners effort to get Tyler and jimmy from bullying Patrick while he was upset about his diaper showing. Conner then whispered back that it was no problem as he had no idea that Patrick had urinary incontinence and that he had to wear diapers. Just then Conner got that horrible feeling that he had really hurt his friend with this simple act of messing around with him for some stupid game of truth or dare. Patrick then suggested that they go for a walk to the park to pass a frisbee. Conner liked this idea as he felt a burst of energy from the sugar in all the food. 

As both boys got prepared to go to the park Conner asked Patrick if he was okay from last night as it still seemed to bother both boys. Parick told Conner not to worry about what was past them. They then walked out the door and Conner then got a strike of curiosity, he started to wonder if Patrick's diaper was noticeable. Conner looked for any sign of bulging or leakage, that's when Conner noticed something that he had not seen in the entire time of being Patrick's friend. Conner saw a slight bulge as well as part of the back of Patrick's diaper that Patrick's shirt was getting caught on. 

The two boys had finally got to the park and started to pass the frisbee back and forth. Conner and Patrick talked about their opinions on a new game had started to play a few weeks back, however Conner could not stop thinking about the feeling that he had when he was wearing the diaper and about how Patrick lived with the incontinence problem. After about 30 minutes of talking about video games and throwing the frisbee Patrick suggested that they go home to chill. 

They started to walk home and without any realization that Conner had started to wet himself Patrick decided to point it out, but it was too late Conner was in shock from embarrassment as pee was dripping from his shorts. Conner asked Patrick what he should do, and Patrick responded with what he would do in Conner's situation. Patrick suggested that Conner changes and puts on a diaper. Conner started to panic as he wondered if Patrick's mom saw him like this if she would call his parents and tell them what happened. Conner asked Patrick if he could distract his mom while Conner snuck in through the back door to get changed.

The plan had worked, Conner got into Patrick's house and quickly went to Patrick's room while Patrick and his mom talked about plans for later in the day. It gave Conner just enough time. Conner got out of his bag a new outfit and then asked himself if he should fallow along with Patrick's suggestion of wearing a diaper. Conner then remembered the amount of embarrassment he had just felt as he wet himself on the walk back and came to a conclusion that he should wear a diaper to be safe. So, he went in Patrick's closet and found a semi thick diaper that had a cute paw print pattern on it.

Conner then walked into the middle of Patrick and Patrick's mom's discussion about later on. Conner heard was the words LASER and TAG and he let them know that he was on board with their plans entirely. When Patrick's mother noticed Conner, she asked him what he wanted for lunch. Conner asked what Patrick was eating and she said leftover pasta from the two days ago. Conner then was served a bowl by Patrick's mom. Conner loved that the feeling that being taken care of felt like as Conner ever since he had got into middle school had been independent for so many things. This feeling was a bittersweet one as it reminded him of a time, he was sick and had to take care of himself because both of his parents were on business trips. 

After finishing his bowl of pasta and dwelling on the idea of being taken care of forever, Conner asked Patrick if it was a normal thing for Patrick's mom to care for Patrick like she did today. Patrick responded with a simple yes and Conner was pretty surprised as he assumed that all parents showed tough love through forcing their kid to be independent. 

While Conner and Patrick continued their conversation about how independent they believe that a teen their age should be, Patrick's mom poped in for a moment handed each of the boys a cup of tea and then said that in her opinion kids grow up so fast that they should enjoy their childhood as long as possible before they move out on their own. As Patrick's mom sat down next to the two boys on the couch Conner explained to her that he never really felt like he had much of a childhood since he had to find things to help his parents out with or learn a new skill to be able to fix things around the house while his parents were away since they were gone so much. 

Then Patrick's mom said that she meant to ask earlier but didn't get the chance, but as she started to ask Conner the question, he started to freeze up in fear of embarrassment. Once the words had enough time to process through Conner's head, he spit out a simple "what" as he was trying to act normal. Then Patrick's mom asked him a second time if he had worn a diaper the night before and if he wanted to wear one later since they would not be getting back till late because of laser tag. The young persuasive voice in Conner's head helped force out the words "yes I needed a diaper and would be thankful to be able to have another for later". Conner refused to tell Patrick's mom that he had one on in the moment because he was having problems controlling his bladder. 

A little bit later Patrick's mom told both boys to go get ready for the fun night planned. Once both boys got into Patrick's room, Patrick packed his usual diaper backpack with an extra change of clothes and two extra diapers as well as his three favorite pacifiers. He then looked at Conner just standing there watching him pack the bag and decided to pack another two diapers and a random passi from the few that were never opened for conner, since there was plenty of room.
