Tests

Agatha had been queen for only a year. She was loving all of it. The meetings, the press conferences, and she was getting used to the fame. She was happy and in love. What could be better? Both Agatha and Tedros were about to find out. . .

Agatha was nervous. It had been three days in a row now that she had been throwing up. Three days. She was also feeling. . .different. She was planning to talk to Tedros about it tonight. The big conversation. The baby talk. They had talked about having a baby before. And besides, the kingdom was waiting for them to produce an air. They had been starting to feel pressured. 

After the second day of the feeling sick, Agatha had Maid Marian meet her. This was a secret meeting. Tedros had no idea that it was happening. He had been gone that day on business at Jaunt Jollie. Agatha bled to Marian. She started to tear up. She was terrified. 

Agatha: What did you do when you found that you were pregnant with Dot?

Marian: At that time, I didn't even know Robin. Yes I knew who he was, but I didn't really talk to him. So I didn't have to worry about that, thank goodness. But I definitely wasn't expecting for a child to come out of my relationship with the Sheriff. When I found out that I was with child, I was shocked. Not only shocked, but I was terrified. After having a good talk with the Sheriff, we decided to keep the baby, or he would keep it. It was in the middle of the pregnancy that I met Robin. He was my real true love. I always thought that it was the Sheriff. Anyway, I think that you just need to talk to Tedros. From what you have told me, all of it definitely leads to pregnancy.

Agatha: If I am pregnant, you know. . .do you think. . . that you could. . .I don't know,. . .be here?

Marian: Agatha, I am going to be with you through your whole journey. Anytime you need me, please call.

Agatha: Thank you Marian, I will.

*The next day, in the King's Chamber*

Agatha: *takes a deep breath* Tedros, I need to talk to you.

Tedros: What is it Love?

Agatha: I think. . .that. . .I may be. . . . . . .pregnant

Tedros: *jaw drops* What?!

Agatha: Well. . .for three days now I've been throwing up in the morn-

Tedros: Wait. Three Days?! Why didn't you tell me?

Agatha: Well, at first I thought that it was nothing, but then, after taking to Maid Marian, I think that it's possible. 

Tedros: Have you asked the doctor yet?

Agatha: No. I wanted you to be there. I've set up an appointment with Dr. Aslin for tomorrow at 10:00, I asked your steward if you could take the day off tomorrow, or at least not have any meetings.

Tedros walked over to her and kissed her deeply. He had no idea what he'd just learned, but he knew that he and Agatha could over come anything.

*The next day in Agatha's room. The doctor is preparing a pregnancy test*

Dr. Aslin: Well, Your Majesty, you definitely do have the symptoms of a pregnancy, but until I have the test ready, we cannot know for sure.

Agatha was laying in her bed, with Tedros sitting protectively next to her. Agatha had a machine hooked up to her, and Dr. Aslin was setting up some other machine that was going to determine whether or not Agatha was pregnant. 

Tedros: How long is this going to take?

Dr. Aslin: It will only be a short while now Your Majesty.

A few minutes pass by, and now the test has come through.

Dr. Aslin: You're Majesty's, I am proud to say that Queen Agatha is pregnant.

Agatha: Really?!

Dr. Aslin: Yes really, it is too early to tell what the gender is, but you are at least three weeks along by now. 

Agatha: Oh. My. Goodness!

Tedros: We're going to be parents! *looks at Dr. Aslin* Thank you so much.

Dr. Aslin: Of course. I will be back once a week for a while to check on your progress, and I will personally be the one to deliver your baby.

Agatha: We truly can't thank you enough.

Dr. Aslin put away the tests and made her way out of the room. When she had left, Tedros scooted closer to Agatha and kissed her slowly. There was nothing that needed to be said. If their love was strong enough to bring a person into their world, than they could really do anything.

The next eight months were a roller-coaster ride. The King and Queen made the announcement of Queen Agatha's pregnancy to the kingdom, and after that, that's all anyone wanted to talk about. They decided to keep the gender a secret until the birth. Agatha didn't usually like surprises, but she was okay with this one. They also didn't tell anyone the names for each gender. It didn't take them long to decide. They had talked about it before. Neither of them could believe that they were going to be parents in a sheer month.

Agatha was big by now, she took up most of the bed at night, but Tedros didn't mind. Sophie was being very overprotective about the whole thing. Hovering around Agatha like a hawk, shoving away tourists, and attending her every need.

Tedros: Isn't that my job? I am her husband.

Sophie: Oh Teddy, you just don't understand, you're not a woman. I can care for Aggie better than you can in this situation. 

Tedros looked at Agatha for support, but she gave him the look that told him she'd already tried.

One night, Agatha woke to terrible pain.

Agatha: *shaking Tedros hard* Tedros, Tedros!

Tedros: *grogily* Whaaat?

Agatha: I. . .I think it's coming.

Tedros: *jolting up* Really?!

Agatha: Really.

Tedros: I'll send for the doctor.

~~Time Passes~~

Agatha is laying on her bed screaming, as Dr. Aslin leads her through labor. Tedros is gripping her hand, trying to sooth her, (to be honest, he was also trying to calm himself) Sophie was sitting in a nearby chair after Dr. Aslin telling her off that only the husband may be close to her.

Sophie: BUT I'M HER SISTER!!!!!

Dr. Aslin: Duchess Sophie, please just go sit in that chair. 

Agatha had never been in so much pain in her life. And yet, she'd never been happier, she was about to be a mother! She tried to think happy thoughts of the past years. Her first kiss with Tedros, defeating Rafal, finding out that Sophie was her sister, etc. These thoughts kept her from basically dying from pain. Tedros was doing his best to sooth her, he was running his hands through her hair, and giving her kisses when the contractions came.

~~Time Passes~~

After being in labor for eight excroutionating painful hours, (Sophie had left at hour six, mad for not being able to help) Agatha gave birth. To a girl

Tedros kissed her like he had never kissed her before, with so much passion, that Agatha thought that he might crush her lips. 

The baby was beautiful. She had Tedros' blue eyes, Agatha's pale complexion, and soft blonde hair. Tedros sat with them in the bed for hours. People rambled in. Sophie and Hort, then Maid Marian, along with the witches who had made it to the palace right after the birth, then Beatrix and Keiko, who arrived the day after.

Two days after the baby was born, they made the announcement to the kingdom.

Announcer: Let it be recorded that on the ninth day of the sixth month, Queen Agatha of Camelot gave birth to Camelot's newest princess, Clarisse, Dovey Pendragon!
