Hello and welcome to this most likely very awful fanfiction!

I don't understand why you decided to read this but I'm happy you did.

This is a Harry Potter x Reader (but you probably knew that already but AnyGays)

This is my first actual fanfic so I'm sorry if I'm shit at this.

Also I'm Irish so I might spell things differently e.g 'favourite' not 'favorite'
and if I use slang and you don't really know what it means just leave a comment, me or somebody else will be more than happy to help you understand my weird vocabulary.

Speaking of comments, feel free to leave them and tell me what you think. Like I said I'm probably going to be really shit at this so tell me how to improve.

Notes about the story:

Events of the canon books will take place in Prisoner of Azkaban onwards

OCs might be in the story for like 2mins (i dont like them either) and I'm using a random name generator if I'm using them so yeah

Will mostly follow the book storyline but with a little ✨sprinkle✨ of the movies

The prologue thing is gonna be absolute dog shite so just skip that ig im probably gonna edit it later but we'll cross that bridge when im ready to face it

Notes about Y/N:

Y/N will be a Gryffindor

Y/N will have she/her pronouns (but if you would like to change this there are some great chrome extensions you can use to change the pronouns and 'Y/N' to your's or an oc's name)

Y/N has a power thingy migig that uses Fantastic Beasts lore so this fanfic might not be accurate when the new movie comes out but oh well

Notes about Harry & Y/N's relationship:

They've known each other their whole lives

Relationship is platonic until after the middle of Goblet of Fire but no promises lol
