Something is Bound to Happen.

"What?!" Ruv asked, surprised as he raised his eyebrows. The blush across his cheeks spoke just for him. "I- well, of course not! I- uh, we just met three days ago!" He laughed nervously, clearing his throat as he looked away and tried to calm down. "We're just getting close, Sarv, don't worry. I like hanging out with him.. Because, well, you know.." He trailed off, going quiet.

Sarv just smiled as she rested her chin on her palm, "Well? Spit it out." Ruv shot her a glare, huffing. "He's basically the only other friend I've had, other than you. And he's a guy! Hanging out with you all the time is making me soft. I need to reclaim some of my masculinity.." Ruv spat. He was basically just rambling and spitting incoherent nonsense at this point, and he really didn't want Sarv to bug him anymore.

The pink-haired girl just smiled and laughed, "Alright, I guess I'll have to believe you." She poked Ruv's cheek and stood up. "Anyways, have you been looking around for any job-offerings? I heard the library up the street is hiring. I figured you'd like a quiet and easy job." Ruv just looked up, hoping his obnoxious blush had faded, "Uh.. No, I haven't been looking. Sorry. I- uhm, will look into it, yeah."

Sarvente smiled and patted Ruv's head, reaching to grab her plate before turning to the sink. "Also, take a shower. You smell." Ruv just rolled his eyes and groaned, scooching his chair out and standing. He began to head towards the hallway before he was stopped one final time by Sarv. "Hey, uh," She started, "And I just wanna let you know, I'm leaving in a few. An old friend of mine just hit me up last night, and we made plans. Just a heads up."

"Uhm, Okay." Ruv said, shrugging. He didn't think Sarv had any other friends, but alas, I guess she did. Anyways, he headed into the bathroom, shutting the door behind him as he flicked the light on. It was only then he realized how much of a shit-show he looked. Dark eye bags under his eyes, greasy looking hair, even his sweater looked gross. He grunted, reaching up and behind his head to remove his eyepatch. There in the mirror he stood, his tall figure awkwardly crouching down slightly to see himself.

His scar was a dull purple color, and it ran from the base of his cheek over to his temple, right over his eye. It's not like he didn't like people seeing it, but he wore the cloth to cover it either way. He figured if he covered it, he'd come off as less intimidating. Either way, he sighed after a minute, getting ready to shower.

____________

After his shower, he stepped out into the living room. The house was quiet, so he figured Sarv had left already. He hummed a bit and thought about what to do. He wanted to get drunk, honestly, but he didn't even know if there was any alcohol in the fridge.. Or anywhere in the house, that is. He chewed his bottom lip slightly, deciding to check anyway.

He made his way to the fridge, opening it. He hoped Sarv knew him well enough that she'd at least get a small bottle of vodka. And, well, to Ruv's surprise, she did. He pulled it out, mentally cheering and whispering 'yes' under his breath. But, he didn't want to get drunk alone, that'd be no fun. He hung out with Whitty yesterday, so he kind of debated calling him.

He remembered what Sarv said earlier, and it made him blush again. He rubbed his face, looking down at his attire. Basically the only other clothes he owned were a pair of sweats and a dark blue T-shirt. Sorta acceptable. It looked like he was wearing pajamas, but he could care less. He tapped his fingers on the kitchen counter before texting the bomb, sighing.

R: Hey, are you free to come over? I have some vodka and Sarv is gone, so I figured I'd have a friend come over.

R: I just realized how sexually-inviting that sounded. Didn't mean to come off that way. Srry.
