part 1: The begining

Kara remembers the first time shes ever smoked, it was from one of her friends carts. It burned but not in a bad way. Her head felt all fuzzy and it tingled all the way down to her lungs, it was a great experience yet the whole night was a blur.

**Kara's pov**
I woke up from the light of my window shining through, it was 12:00 pm. My head was pounding but didn't quite know why, I quickly went downstairs to take some ibuprofen with a glass of water. My phone vibrated
*3 miss calls from Nicole*
*6 messages from Nicole*
Nicole<3
hii
you up?
we are supposed to meet up at 9
WAKE UP ITS 8
cmon sleepy head
i miss you :((

"Shit." kara said. "I was supposed to meet Nicole at the coffee shop at 9.." I quickly gave Nicole a call but it went right to voicemail. Kara started to over think. *did she block my number* *She hates me now* *Im such an awful friend* *I broke my promise*

**Nicole's pov**
"Hey mom, i'm heading to Kara's house i'll be home tomorrow probably!" she said. Her mom just nodded. Kara's house is walking distance from mine, maybe a couple blocks down. It was FREEZING out! Nicole's phone vibrated but she was to cold to answer it and just wanted to see Kera.

*30 minutes later*
When I got to Kara's house right as I went to knock on the door Kara swung it open crying. "KARA!" I said. Kara looked at me confused yet happy. Her eyes were super red and puffy. "What's wrong baby" I said in a soft voice. Kara just stood there and bursted into tears. Kara was always super sensitive and half the time she was over thinking about if she's a good "friend" or how bad of a daughter she is. Kara fell to her knees, pleading out "I'm so sorry, i'm such a bad friend."

"Friend" Nicole said in her mind. "does she not remember last night" she thought....
