And suddenly everything went back to normal. Or almost everything. I had lost so many people along the way.

People I cared about, people who were such a big part of my life.

Malia and Stiles were in a relationship. I don't know since when or why but I was happy for him. As long as he was happy.

Malia was...a nice girl you could say. We shared a sense of humor and an immense love for the same person. Scott was teaching her to control herself. She had been a coyote for many years and this was all very different for her. We did our best to make her feel welcome.

Kira was confused. I didn't blame her. She had just found out her mother is 900 years old.

Scott and Kira became more and more close as a couple every day and I couldn't help feeling alone every time I saw them. Which reminded me a lot of her.

Since Allison's death, everything reminded me of her.

I had spent more time with Lydia. Both supporting each other after everything we've been through.

I was just missing one person to check on.

The door opened and he looked at me confused.

"Hello, Isaac." I smiled a little bit.

"Hey, Lia." He smiled and stepped aside so I could walk in. "What are you doing here?" He asked.

"I wanted to check up on you." I answered and he sighed.

"Well...I'm okay, I guess. And you?" He asked.

"I'm okay too, I guess." I replied and he smiled a little.

I walked to his room and he followed me.

"I don't think you should..." He spoke.

When I walked in the room I saw a bag that had all his belongings.

I frowned and looked at him. I saw his expression and understood everything.

"You're leaving?" I asked and he looked down. "No, Isaac, you can't leave." I spoke.

I walked towards his bag and started taking out his things.

"Lia..."

"You can't leave. We need you here. What if some other monster appears? Or if I go to another horrible party and need someone to pick me up?" I spoke altered.

"Lia, you'll be fine."

"No! I know you'll be fine, Isaac. But what about me? You promised you'd wait for me." I spoke with tears in my eyes.

"They don't need me here anymore." He replied and I shook my head.

"We need you. I need you!" I yelled.

"You don't need me, you'll be fine." Isaac spoke.

"No Isaac, I won't be fine." I insisted and he sighed and walked over to put his things back. "I've already lost enough people, I don't need to lose you too."

"You never needed me, Lia. You don't need anyone, you're too strong to need anyone."

"And what if I'm not?" I asked and he sighed.

"You are."

I looked down and sobbed.

He walked towards me and hugged me. I tried to push him away but he held onto me tight. I gave up and hugged him tightly too.

"Please don't leave me." I whispered.

"I'm sorry." He whispered. "I'm so sorry my girl."

He was leaving me too. I'd only have memories left from him. From my first boyfriend, the guy who made me the happiest girl in the world for a while.

But that's the problem of loving someone. You never know if you'll lose them and when you do, it's the most painful thing in the world.
