Revenge For The Fallen

Lookout Part 2

I raised his fist and punched the ground leaving the ground crumbled and difficult to walk on knocking the student to the ground. He managed to through more poisonous darts at me and this time I used his speed to my advantage I leaped into the air dodging the darts.

There was determination screaming out of my face as he was staring down his opponent, still poisoned and weak. "You still want to fight?" he said laughing. "Okay, let's fight." He threw many darts at me and I blocked all of them with my power on his right side. "How?" he asked. I said nothing. With frustration the student threw many darts at my toes, the walls, and the sealing to block him. I don't know what his power is, but at least I put some distance between us so I can run out of here but with my broken leg it will take some time. I wasn't fazed at all with the obstacle in my way as I leaped into the air carefully through the darts and made my way to the other side before he was able to get back to the ground, the student was able to hit him with 2 more poisonous darts. The darts made him even more light headed and my vision wasn't clear but it didn't stop I from using all of his energy to land his last punch. When he landed the punch, the student's face was pushed to the ground crumbling the ground beneath them even more and the ground collapsed beneath their feet after that they both fell to the first floor. 

The student was under the rubble unconscious and bleeding and I was able to stay conscious. He slowly got out of the rubble, the poison was still in effect. He fell to the floor head first. His eyes were blurry, he was able to slowly scan the hallway. He saw what it seemed to be  tons of debris from the fall. As he was looking around he noticed three figures, he wasn't able to see them clearly. One figure was covered in red, another figure looked liked they were tossed to the side of the wall and the last figure was standing up and looking down at them. Who was guarding this floor? He eyes widened  he whispered "Tsuika?" The other figure noticed me and turned to face me. 

"I'm sorry." he spoke as Kuragari let out a tear and it quickly turned into aggression. I know that voice with those same words and the figure disappeared. 

"You! Come out of the dark!" I yelled. Two figures slowly walked out of the shadows. My eyes widened and I dropped to the ground. "Genki?"

Back in elementary school, back when Kuragari hasn't learned how to use his power he was stuck with half of his body looking like smoke. As he was walking down the street, he noticed two kids that went to his school they brushed shoulders and a face of fear appeared on their face. Kuragari just turned and looked away. He crossed the street, all he could think about was all the other students would react to him like that, they did. He was approaching the school gate, he turned and he saw a crowd of students in front of the school. One by one they noticed him pass by as he tries not to make eye contact, not trying to scare them even more, they all quickly moved away from him. When he got to his classroom and sit in his seat, other students would see half of his body looked like smoke and be frightened and sit away from him. His teacher walked over to him.

"Are you alright?" he asked.

"I'm alright." he replied.

"One day you will be able to learn how your power works and everyone will be amazed at what your power can do." he grinned. 

The bell rang and he went back to the front of the class to begin. After class he went to lunch. He sat at a lunch table alone until another student sat down next to him.

"Hi, is anyone sitting here?" he asked.

"No." he gently replied.  

"Great. That means that I can sit here." he said grinning.

They both quietly eat our lunch as other students would quickly walked passed Kuragari.

"That's a cool power you got there." he said.

"You don't think my power its scary?" he asked.

"No, I think your power is cool and unique. It has the same color as my power." he said.

A dark purple smoke appeared all around him and he disappeared. Kuragari was amazed then he appeared in the other seat next to him.

"What do you think of my power?" he asked.

"It's amazing unlike mine everyone just looks at me with fear." he said.

Genki ponders this and says "Think about your power like this. There is one star in the sky. The star is the alone but it shines bright."

"But the star is alone." he frowns.

Then he said "But then another star appears and the stars shine brighter than before in the night sky."

There is a sparkle in Kuragari's eyes and he grins "Yes."

Genki smiles back.

"You know what you have to do Genki. Fight!" he yelled. Genki started rushing me. I activated my power then he disappeared after that he reappeared behind as I anticipated, so I was able to dodge the punch but I was bleeding. I looked down and I saw my legs bleeding and he had a sword in his other hand. I dropped to the floor. 

"Why?" I said. 

"Now finish him? Or we can make a deal?" he said snickering.

"What do you mean?" I softly said.

"For saving your life, you have to serve me. Do we have a deal?" he said laughing.

"No." I said then I realized Genki made a deal with him but why?

"'No' then Genki finish him." he said. Genki raises sword. I could see his eyes shaking and in his eyes the students he was forced to kill for this student. 

I couldn't use my legs. Am I really going to get killed by Genki? Then a rush of memories  came back to him. Remembering how much the student made Genki suffer. I quickly dodged his sword then my power was overflowing with energy and parts of my purple aura started to burst into pieces that became a purple fire on impact. My eyes were filled with that same purple flame then I swept Genki off his legs to the floor and ran toward the killer. 

"You will pay!" I yelled. But when I threw a few flares at him but it just went through him and it set the ground on fire. He started to cackling.

"You think you can defeat me? You can't even hit me if you wanted to. I'm a ghost" he said.

"What? How am I suppose to defeat a person that I can't hit?" I said. I realize that it had to be a deal that is giving this power. If I can destroy the deal, I can beat him.

"Genki, get up and finish him. The way you know how" he commanded. He got up and another sword appeared in his hand. He pushes himself off the floor to increase speed and ran at me. He sliced everything in his way. I was prepared to destroy the deal by killing Genki. He is the one he made the deal with. "I'm sorry Genki." I said as I rushed him at lightning speed and used all my flares to obliterate him. Genki is dead.

"I'm sorry too. All part of the leader's plan." The figure said as he pressed a button. The whole building exploded.
