ROMIONE

Chapter 1

The war has just ended and the Weasley's are all around Fred's lifeless body all the Weasley family has come to find that they had just lost a member of their family. Everyone's face was covered with burning hot tears. George couldn't tear his eyes from the body of his brother as he lay on the ground. Hermione just held Ron's hand while both were crying. Harry and Ginny were doing the same. Mrs. Weasly was kneeling beside Fred while Mr. Weasly and Percy were on either side of her. Ron squeezed Hermione's hand and whispered in her ear "I wanna talk with you privately...please" she nods slightly. Ron got up and said he needed water and Hermione said she would follow him make sure he doesn't do anything stupid considering the broken and depressed look in his eyes. They got no response from the mourning family. Ron waited for Hermione to appear in the nearest corridor. Ron's head had become full of racing thoughts that he could have saved Fred and he wanted to talk to Hermione because he knew she would understand him the most. When Hermione reached him he blurted all that out

"Hermione I need your help."

"You are not sick are you?" Hermione said jokingly trying to break the depressing atmosphere.

Ron barley registered her words and spewed out his thoughts while the tears cascaded down his face "Every time I think of Fred it hurts, and i keep imagining the scenarios in which i could have saved him."

"Ron it's not your fault Fred died, we were outnumbered you couldn't have helped him."

"I know but he didn't deserve to die, there must have been something i could have done to save him"

And soon they were both crying. 

"Please don't do this to yourself Ron. You're tourturing yourself."

Tears were now flowing freely like water falls down bth their faces.

Hermione hugged Ron and rubbed his back slowly trying to ease his pain.

Ron broke the hug

"I love you Hermione, and i realised that i should remind the people i love that i appreaciate them and care for them because looking back i didn't tell Fred how much i appreciate him being my brother. I just wish that he knows how much he means to me and how much i miss him even if i didn't show it that often. "

Hermione pulled Ron back in for a hug.

"Ron I love you too, and i'm sure he knows how much you love him. I miss him too so much."
