After Fred's funeral with two weeks nearly everyone except George cheered up, even if only slightly. George still hasn't accustumed to life without his other half. Nor have the Weasley's but they were trying to deal with the new circumstances, it has been hard on everyone but most of all of course George was having the most trouble closely followed by Mrs. Weasley, even though she tried not to show it in hopes that George would get better becasue she didn't want to lose another son.
Ron and Hermione were sitting in the Weasley living room and they had a chess game in between them on a table as each of them sat on a chair opposite each other they were both laughing knowing who would win.
After half an hour Hermione won as usual. Ron wasn't surprised he just wanted to regain a sense of his life before the battle as well as getting to spend time with Hermione. The Weasleys hadn't left the Burrow for the two weeks that had passed since the burial of Fred.
George hadn't yet fully comprehended the fact that he could now only talk to the ground where Fred lay beneath and not to his brother. Bill and Fluer had left the Burrow two days after Fred's burial and Charlie decided that he no longer wanted to leave his family and miss out on every moment has with them he feels as if he hadn't spent much time with Fred.
Charlie has currently been keeping a close eye on George to make sure he was coping and wouldn't be swallowed in the deep surrow he felt. While Percy has now changed his attitude towards his family. He has completly changed his list of priorities. He now has his family at the top of that list, as it should have been years ago.
Percy now helps his mother and father with anything and everything. His job is now less important in his eyes than his family. The Ministry hasn't yet asked all the witches and wizards that have participated in the war or tht have had relatives particpate in the war to return to work. Percy hasn't retired but he plans on spending time with his family instead of just drowning himself in his job.
Harry has been tired of all the events that had gone down in the battle, he was still trying to comprehend how much had happend. How many people whom he loved that he had lost in the battle. Lupin and Tonks whom he had seen their lifless bodies on the floor and he imediatly thought about their son. And the death of his godfather whom he didn't have the chance to mourn over. All the people he lost across the years and couldn't mourn, or wasn't even given a chance to mourn. All the people who meant so much to him, and they were all gone and he didn't get the chance to give his respects or say his farwell.
