"GREETINGS, TRAVELER!" Kathryne of the Adventurers' Guild exclaimed upon seeing the outlander walk towards her, his exotic cape slowly swaying behind him.
"Hi, Kathryne!" The outlander's flying companion, Paimon, greeted with a joyful wave. "We completed our commissions!"
"Wonderful!" Kathryne rejoiced as she placed their reward on the counter. "Say, Traveler, could you perhaps do me a favor?"
"What is it?" The outlander, Aether, inquired as he pocketed the reward for the commissions, the sound of metal coins clashing breaching his ears.
"The Adventurers' Guild sent one of our adventurers out to Dragonspine on a quest around two weeks ago," Kathryne explained, a worried expression cast upon her face. "She has yet to return, which is quite unusual since, despite her behavior, she's quite strong. I would've at least heard from her by now if she was going to take a few days off."
"Is it someone we know? Maybe Fischl?" Paimon questioned as curiosity grew in her mind.
The receptionist shook her head. "No, no one you've met before. She's often out and about, which is probably why you two have never run into her. She left on a quest shortly before your first arrival, returned briefly, then left again."
"Woah! She must be a workaholic like Grand Master Jean!" Paimon exclaimed, her mouth agape and her eyes wide at the information.
Kathryne once again shook her head. "She's nothing of the sort. She just... quite the daydreamer. She tends to get lost in her own head and lose track of time."
"So she gets distracted easily," Paimon deadpanned, her expression turning into that of uninterest as Aether facepalmed.
"I guess you could say that," Kathryne chuckled as she rubbed the back of her head.
"Alright, we'll go find her," Aether agreed as Kathryne nodded in appreciation.
"Thank you, Traveler," Kathryne expressed with a smile. "Her name's (Y/n) (L/n)."

The sky over the snow-tipped mountains grew darker with each passing moment. The wind howled with a sense of mystery, a cold warning to those who dared enter this god-forsaken land.
The pale white snow crunched beneath Aether's worn-down boots as Paimon shivered from the relentless cold.
"Paimon doesn't get it," the flying companion chattered, her breath coming out as a thin fog. "How could someone stay out here for 2 weeks? Paimon's already freezing from being here for an hour!"
"We've checked most of the area already," Aether commented, ignoring his friend's pleas to turn around and go back to Mondstadt. "We could check Skyfrost Nail and at least get a vantage point."
