(THE PALACE HOTEL)
Still waiting for a pretty blonde sits Dan Humphrey, as he huffs, and waves his white flag to walk out the doors, just like Nate.
"So, uh, what'd you need to talk to Serena about?" The brunette boy asks,
Nate shrugs it off, "Nothing, just in the neighborhood. You?"
Dan sighs, "I... am no where near the neighborhood, but I'm working on a better excuse."
Nate looks down, then back up at the other boy, "You guys... like", referring to if or if not the two are dating.
"I...I.. I don't know." Dan furrows his eyes realizing that he couldn't answer such a question.
"Well that's Serena... With her, you'll never know." Nate shrugs, giving him a smile, causing the Dan to stand and ponder.
"Nathaniel! What're you doing here?" Out walks Chuck, wearing a white polo shirt and cardigan, and shades, probably to cover the nasty black eye from the night before.
"Nothing, just waiting for you." Nate replies, just in time, Dan turns his head, only to meet eyes with Chuck.
Chuck takes off his glasses in confusion, "Him?"
Dan sighs, walking towards him with anger that had never rested from the night before.
"Hey, what're you doing here?"
"What is this? Uh, your hotel?" Dan raises his eyebrow.
Nate, holding Chuck back turns to reply, "Actually, it is."
Dan looks at the two in confusion, for not realizing his sarcastic comeback was actually a fact.
"Yeah, so unless you have a reason to be here, I'll have to ask you to wait on the curb with the rest of the trash."
"Trash? Look, man, I live in Brooklyn, all right? Not the Ozarks... No offense to the Ozarks. But, don't you think we're taking this class warfare thing a little two far?" Dan defends himself, causing Chuck to leap at him, only to still be held back by Nate.
"A little too far? I haven't even started, man." Chuck gets a shove in, causing Dan to point at him as a warning.
"Okay, man, let's just go!" Nate yells out, trying to stop the two from fighting.
"Don't tell my you're sticking up for Serena's new bitch. If anyone's got a reason to kick his ass, it's you."
The two look at Dan, as if the boy was lower than them, as Nate sighs out, "He's not worth it. Not here."
Dan rolls his eyes at the two, and raises his hands, causing Chuck's annoyance at the breathing boy to raise even higher.
Nate gives his best friend one last warning look as he leads them away from the hotel.
"This isn't over." Chuck points out.
"Hey, anytime, man. That one black eye looks a little lonely." Dan smirks, pointing out that he already had the upper hand.
Dan then turns around sighing, his head beginning to hurt just from the interaction.
