It’s today. The day I have my trail.
‘Get up Summa and be ready in 20 minuets’ A male nurse says.
I jump out of bed and look in the mirror.
My smile faded.
I looked down and tears fell down my face.
‘Come on then. Lets go’ A police officer said.
He came in my cell and out me in cuffs.
He escorted me to the police van and threw me inside.
After a while, I was eventually pulled out of the van and the cuffs where take off.
As I made my way into the court, the media were there taking pictures of me and screaming in my face.
‘Did you murder your family?’
‘Your sick’
‘I hope you remain locked up’
Ouch, that hurt.
I covered my face and stuck my middle up and continued inside.
I was taken to a seat next to the Judge.
There where hundreds of people starting at me and whispering.
I sat back and rolled my eyes at them.
*bang bang bang*
The Judge banged his gavel on the desk.
‘So today, we are here to watch the trail of Miss Summa Florence Hazel. She was accused of brutally murdering her family on the 3rd August 2009. Todays date is 5th of August 2012. After 3 years of investigating, we declare that Summa Hazel is….
Not Guilty. After many DNA tests, it showed that Miss Hazels fingerprints where not an exact match to the ones left on her families bodies. Miss Hazel is to be discharged from the Melbourne Mental Institute as soon as I sign this paper.’ The Judge said in a mutual voice.
Did he just say what I thought? I WASN’T GUILTY!!!
I can finally leave this shithole!
‘Ladies and Gentlemen, this case is now closed’ the Judge shouted as he banged his gavel on his desk.
Everyone clapped as I stood up and walked out.
I WAS FREE
As part of my leave from MMI I get given a free flat and £50,000.
As I walked out of the court, I was given a set of keys and an address to go to.
The media started clapping and congratulating me as I made my way into a taxi.
Thank the lord I am free.
