For most, lying is a sin, it's wrong and deserves punishment right? I was born from a lie. My dad, such a wonderful bright guy con'd his way into my mom's bed. My mom? Well... she was conning him when she told him she was pregnant. The pregnancy was real, it was the whole "I can't wait to start a family with you" that was the con. My dad surprisingly on board with starting the American dream with my mom was surprised that the day after I was born she went out to "get some milk" and decided she'd get the milk in another country and change her name, you know.. in case the milk mafia are after her.

So, rather than my dad giving me up for adoption he raised me the way any single parent ex con would. He taught me how to lie cheat and steal my way through pretty much any deal I would ever face.

My name's Alex, pleasure to meet ya'. My dad Chris and I are any rich bachelor or bachalorette's worst fear. For their bank accounts and pockets anyway. Now that I'm 18 my pops let's me go off and do some small cons here and there. This story, is about my latest year. How I slipped up and ruined a simple con. Seems like this story is heading towards "Heartbreakers" doesn't it? Yeah, that is a good movie but I assure you my life is a lot less Sigourney Weaver and a whole lot more.. umm gay, probably not as funny (as heartbreakers), filled with lies, love, emotion and

I'm just messing I'm not going to give one of those dumb introductions if you're interested by all means turn the page. It's your hearts' funeral, not mine.

(PROLOGUE what did you think? I'll write more asap!)

CHAPTER 2

The truth is, back at my old school I didn't have many friends. In fact, I had one. She was called Alice. She was a modestly beautiful light skinned, brown haired girl. She was my first love no doubt about it. life with her around wasn't really full of lies or cheating, it was simple. Yeah so what if it was only middle school, girls mature faster than guys. We actually can feel Real Love before their high pitched little voices drop. With her, I wasn't stuck with my thoughts or my dad so I enjoyed those many nights away.

I was working a con with my dad when I was in 8th grade. He applied me to this catholic school to get easy cash from those snobby rich kids. Though we stayed at the school for a long time, I never really made a friend. In mid November the school got a new student. She was different from the typical catholic school girls. She was beautiful, in every sense of the word. This girl made me realize I liked girls the second I layed eyes on her. Her eyes were an intense green that peirced me in the way that made me crave the sight of them. She walked like she knew everyone who looked at her either just got a boner or wanted to be her. The first block bell rang and the beautiful perfect girl is in my seat.

I would normally kick whichever dickhead that was in my seat out of it, but her head was dick free. Hopefully so was her sexual preference because I wanted to take her home to dad. Rather than kick her out I kicked Tom the kid who sits on the side of me out of his seat and then glanced at the new girl multiple times and tried not to sob at how perfect she was and how much I already wanted her.

"I'm -" I can't even talk!

"I'm.. hi"

She looks at me and smiles but only on the right side of her mouth.

"I'm..hello" She laughs slightly at her own joke, sighs and says "So, what's your real name?"

She is actually talking to me. I am freaking out.

"uhhh.. oh um Alex" I say still amazed that she is talking to me. "w-what's yours?"

She looks at me seriously and says "Alice Banks"
