"Alice, come here!!! Mom's giving out candies and stuff." Cindy shouted at her best friend since they were 10, Alice.

"COMING!!!!!" Alice screamed back, she had been playing with a tiny 7 year old Christine, or as she liked to be called "Ziggy" Berman, snarky little kid she was. No wonder Alice loved her so much.
Alice ran to the living room, where Cindy was. Cindy's mom was holding out 2 lollipops, a strawberry one and a chocolate one as Cindy had asked her to get. Cindy knew almost ALMOST everything about Alice, like how she had this strange love for strawberries and how she'd say "three guesses" every time she had a surprise for Cindy. She found all of it adorable yet she always had this deep fear that one day they might drift apart somehow.
Alice gave a happy smile at Cindy and her mom while taking the lollipop, Cindy was mesmerized by that smile, how Alice's pale skin grew a slight shade of pink around her nose. She was snapped out of her thoughts by her mom calling out to her to take the chocolate lollipop.
