Sam's pov

A cute guy invited me to prom,he wasn't that ugly so I accepted.Carly was helping me with the dress

"Trust me,you look stunning" she said

"Thanks Carls" I replied.

I didn't really belived her since no one has ever called me beautiful

Suddently Freddie came in,holding a new camera

"Hey girls" he said

"Hey Nub" I said,"new camera,huh?"

He smiled proudly

"Nub" I thought "but he actually looks cute while smiling"

"Uhh...What are you two doing?" He asked

"Getting ready for the prom" I replied

Freddie's pov

Why?! Why didn't I invited her to prom?! And now she's going with another guy.I missed my shot I guess...

"Did you invited someone to the prom?" Carly asked

"Nope.I'm not going to it.I'm grounded cuz I was watching a horror movie and my mom found out" I said,rolling my eyes.I may sound like a loser,but I don't care.

"Hahahah Nub!" Sam laughed.

Well,at least I made her laugh

~time skip~

It was like 9pm and I was trying to sleep.But I couldn't stop thinking about Sam.What if he doesn't treat her right?

My mom was sleeping so I quickly took the jacket and went to school.

As I reached the school,I hid under a table,so nobody would found out that I was here too.Expecially Sam and Carly.Oh,there she was.Sitting on a chair,a few tears rolling down of her cheeck.I also saw Carly and Oliver  (the guy that invited Sam to prom) dancing together,and they were probably both drunk.I couldn't bare to see her cry so I got up and walked towards her.

"Hey.Are you ok?" I asked

She tried to wipe her tears away,but her eyes were still red.

"Freddie? What are you doing here?"

"I just wanted to know If everything ok.But apparently It's not"

"Well" she started "Oliver and Carly are dancing together"

She started tearing up again

"Aw,come here" I said,pulling her into a hug.She started sobbing on my shoulder.

"Hey,why are you crying?"

"It's like I'm the third wheel.Everybody date me,before breaking my heart and starting dating Carly.Nobody really loves me!"

God, how dare he treat Sam like this!?

"That's not true.Remember that you're way better than Carly" I said,still hugging her.I never want to let go of her

"You deserve better" I said,starting stroking her hair

"Thank you Freddie.For everything" she whispered
