It was a cool winter afternoon. Zero had reached and walked into a big building that has different restaurant sectors in it and looked around. She sighed under her breath and felt as numb and emotionless as ever. She glanced around a bit before finding the area marked 'Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria' and headed toward it, walking into the sector. She let out another sigh before mumbling under her breath "why did I have to come here..?" Her 'friends' forced her to come for one of their little cousin's birthdays. She wondered why here of all places. It was the famed- and for many reasons, not all good reasons- infamous pizzeria. She fiddled with her sleeves as she walked through the main dining area, feeling pretty bored. She watched as the children ran around, played, and screamed in delight at the animatronic figures. She leaned against the wall and watched her so called friends associate with each other, leaving her out completely but she was far too used to it at this point. Her black round glasses rested on the bridge of her nose, along with her cheeks dusted with a light pink from the slight chill of the outside. She went back to looking around when she spotted some flyers for the security guard positions in one of either the sectors. She took it and looked over it, studying it closely before seeming satisfied. Even though she didn't want to come today, she saw this as a win-win situation and looked around again before finding a waitress and walking up to her, before the young waitress looks at Zero and seems as if to be examining her, looking her up and down before saying "yes?" In a bit of a snobby tone along with a forced smile. Zero groans quietly before looking at her, wanting to keep her mood somewhat good so she politely asks her where the manager's office is for the Circus Baby's Pizza World was and the lady gave her directions. Zero walked out and follows the directions: two lefts, a right, and go straight to a door marked managers'. She looked at the door before hesitantly knocking on the door and hearing someone from inside tell her to enter. As she walked in, she saw 3 different managers, all for each sector. She shook her head as she snapped out of her zoning and looked at them. "Afternoon, sirs and ma'am. Sorry if I have disturbed anything. I am here to apply for the night guard position in either of your sectors." she says softly, her expressions remaining the same. They all looked at her a bit frightened as they hear her say that but quickly shook it off. "We could always use a guard in the original Freddy Fazbear sector." One says before the others join in and start to argue who Zero should work for. Not a fan of all the yelling, she snaps her fingers in their faces. "Hey! I have a proposal to make." She starts and they all quiet down. "what if I work for all of you. Every week switches out. I start with the original, then the toys, and finally the funtimes. Seem fair enough?" She asks and the talk for a moment before nodding. "you got yourself a deal, kid.Let's get you a uniform. What size are you?" One asks. "oh uh.. extra small.." she murmured, feeling a little embarrassed. "We all only have small, medium and large I'm afraid but the small pants are made smaller than they should be." The other says. "Alright. I can work with that. I can deal with a small." She answers. They each handed her a uniform, all 3 being different colors. The original Freddy Fazbear's being blue, the Toys being yellow, and the Funtimes being pink. The original Freddy Fazbear's manager shakes her hand gently with a small. "Be here by 11 or 11:30 sharp for a tour of the sector tonight." He says and she nods, shaking his hand back. "Yes, sir. See you then and thank you very much for this opportunity." She says before leaving and heading home after the party, cheering to herself and feeling somewhat excited. She got some rest before tonight and once it was time, she changed and headed over there. She was greeted by the manager, who's name was Scott. He showed her around the area and to her office before leaving her completely alone near 12 am to start her shift. Everything was so quiet, you could hear the drop of a pen. As soon as the bell rang, I relax in my chair before flinching as the phone began to ring. She answered it and listened. "Hello, hello? Uh, I wanted to record a message for you to help you get settled in on your first night. Um, I actually worked in that office before you. I'm finishing up my last week now, as a matter of fact. So, I know it can be a bit overwhelming, but I'm here to tell you there's nothing to worry about. Uh, you'll do fine. So, let's just focus on getting you through your first week. Okay? Uh, let's see, first there's an introductory greeting from the company that I'm supposed to read. Uh, it's kind of a legal thing, you know. Um, "Welcome to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. A magical place for kids and grown-ups alike, where fantasy and fun come to life. Fazbear Entertainment is not responsible for damage to property or person. Upon discovering that damage or death has occurred, a missing person report will be filed within 90 days, or as soon property and premises have been thoroughly cleaned and bleached, and the carpets have been replaced. Blah blah blah, now that might sound bad, I know, but there's really nothing to worry about. Uh, the animatronic characters here do get a bit quirky at night, but do I blame them? No. If I were forced to sing those same stupid songs for twenty years and I never got a bath? I'd probably be a bit irritable at night too. So, remember, these characters hold a special place in the hearts of children and we need to show them a little respect, right? Okay. So, just be aware, the characters do tend to wander a bit. Uh, they're left in some kind of free roaming mode at night. Uh...Something about their servos locking up if they get turned off for too long. Uh, they used to be allowed to walk around during the day too. But then there was The Bite of '87. Yeah. I-It's amazing that the human body can live without the frontal lobe, you know? Uh, now concerning your safety, the only real risk to you as a night watchman here, if any, is the fact that these characters, uh, if they happen to see you after hours probably won't recognize you as a person. They'll p-most likely see you as a metal endoskeleton without its costume on. Now since that's against the rules here at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, they'll probably try to...forcefully stuff you inside a Freddy Fazbear suit. Um, now, that wouldn't be so bad if the suits themselves weren't filled with crossbeams, wires, and animatronic devices, especially around the facial area. So, you could imagine how having your head forcefully pressed inside one of those could cause a bit of discomfort...and death. Uh, the only parts of you that would likely see the light of day again would be your eyeballs and teeth when they pop out the front of the mask, heh. Y-Yeah, they don't tell you these things when you sign up. But hey, first day should be a breeze. I'll chat with you tomorrow. Uh, check those cameras, and remember to close the doors only if absolutely necessary. Gotta conserve power. Alright, good night." The call ends and she tenses up and takes a few deep breaths, telling herself to stay calm. She ends up calming down eventually and stays calm for a few hours. Until 3 AM comes, when Bonnie is right outside the door. She wasn't expecting him and froze in fear before he grabs her and she starts struggling and screaming at the top of her lungs, telling him to let her go right now. They met eyes for a moment and his eyes widened as he saw tears in her eyes and that she was a female. His grip loosened and she wiggled her way out and stumbled back, panting a bit and trembling. He snapped out of it and looks at her apologetically. He has pale skin with long purple hair that is tied messily in a ponytail. He is wearing formal-casual attire with an apron tied around his waist and his red guitar on his back. "Wait.. Are you Bonnie..?" She asks quietly and he hesitantly nods. "Ye-Yes I am." He replies and looks at her. "I'm really really sorry for attacking you. I- I had no idea you were um... a girl.." he admits. She looks up at him as she slowly gets up. "S-So you aren't going to kill me..?" She asks him. "N-No! I promise i wouldn't. Foxy and Freddy might but me and Chica won't." He says. She felt some relief that he wasn't going to kill her though she felt worried still knowing Freddy and Foxy might kill her. She and Bonnie talked for a long time and became friends quite quickly. The two joked around and giggled a lot. She kept on having to adjust the sleeves of her shirt and her hat and Bonnie giggles at her. "You look adorable" he admits and she blushes before giggling as well. "Why thank you, Bonnie. You're so nice to me. I'm not used to that honestly." She tells him with a sad smile. "Huh..? But i saw you with your friends earlier. Are they not nice to you?" he asks and she just sighs and shakes her head. "Not really. More like fake friends who want nothing to do with a freak like me. It's all complicated." She explains. "They hate me yet always drag me down into shit with them like today.. I wanna leave but i.. i don't wanna be alone again and I just don't know what to do, Bonnie." She says, hugging her knees to which Bonnie wraps his arm around her and rubs her head gently as a way to comfort her. After awhile, ^ AM came and the bell chimed. Zero let out a whine and pouts. "Aww! Well... I'll see you tomorrow night, Bonnie." She says and grabs her stuff and starts to head out, him following her. "Hey! Before you go, what's your name?" He asks. "Oh. I'm Zero." She says before hugging him goodbye and leaving. He stands there, starting to blush before Freddy looks around for him, finding him where Zero left him and drags him to the stage. "You failed, Bonnie. What the hell got into you? We heard the guard screaming but we didn't hear anything after. What got into you?!" Freddy asks and Bonnie tries to think of something to say but can't. "Chica will handle the guard tomorrow then. No excuses." Freddy says and Bonnie looks at him in worry before looking at Chica and whispering to her what was going on, which she was excited about. Neither of them could wait to see and meet with Zero again.
